Head to the sandy shores of Coronado Island. Need to keep the small fry occupied for a few hours? Check out the cute creatures at San Diego Zoo. Are you foodie at heart? Every neighborhood has at least one standout, but the Gaslamp District and Little Italy are full of award winners. A big plus: San Diego also has some of the best mom-and-pop taco stands around.
