My wife and I stayed at Moab Rim Campark for two nights in early May; camped in a travel trailer. The first night, campers in site next to us stayed up drinking and partying loudly until after midnight (quiet hours are 10:00 PM - 6 AM; we were advised of this when we checked in.) They got up and started their off road vehicle (Ford Bronco, V8 - very loud) at 5:45 AM to rev the engine and work on it. We got very little sleep. First time ever at an RV park where we've experienced such disturbance, chalked it up to neighbors excitement about getting to Moab for off-roading; left for Arches National Park pretty early so didn't report this. Second night... bigger party at site next to us, with more people, drunken partyers loudly yelling obscenities. Although I was concerned about confronting a bunch of drunks in early morning, I went out of our trailer at 12:30 AM and let them know they were disturbing us (they and their raging fire were only about 4-5 feet from our trailer) and asked that they please observe quiet hours so we could sleep. Got pushback and snide remarks from the partyers, but they grudgingly disbanded and the party was over sometime after 1:00 AM, although their bonfire didn't go out for another hour or two. When checking out the following morning, I advised the office that we had hardly slept the last two nights because of loud, drunken neighbors in campsite next to us. I was admonished for not reporting this sooner, and told that it was a group of off-roaders that had given the RV Park problems before. Due to lost sleep and terrible experience, I requested a refund for one night. Was told by office representative that the owner/manager would call me to discuss this whole issue; never heard a word from anyone. Evidently, there is no monitoring or control of campers at this park; it is campers' responsibility to police the campground themselves. If you value peace and quiet, I strongly recommend you avoid this RV Park. We will never go back.
