We visited La Quinta Moab in mid November for one night and loved the area and hotel so much that a month later, we decided to do another roadtrip to Moab and stay here again, but this time for two nights.

So, a couple of things that stand out about this hotel is the centrality of being located right off the main road in Moab. This puts you right in the middle of grocery stores, gas stations, little shops, and restaurants - enough places to walk to that make things so convenient. Second, the rooms are big and clean. We were out hiking all day so coming back to a spacious room that you can just unwind in is heavenly. You don't have to be tiptoeing around, wondering if the carpet is disgusting or worrying about how you can shower lightning quick because the tub is scary. Nope, none of that. Literally, shed your clothes and lay in the bath if you want. The third thing that I want to commend this place on is their breakfast. Granted, the selection is the same every day but it's a nice, hot meal to start your day off right. I know it's covid times, but getting a paper bag with a banana and a hard bagel is not appetizing - which is what we got at many hotels across the US. Bravo to this La Quinta for putting in the effort to still offer their guests a decent breakfast. We definitely appreciated it.

So now that we've been to Moab twice in a one month period, we've decided that we will be back and when we do, we will be staying at La Quinta! By the way, we were traveling with our dog and really, this is the reason we chose La Quinta initially because they are so pet-friendly (they have a dog park!), but after staying there twice now, we have seen so many other reasons to stay here as well.

We stayed here for 4 nights in early May 2021. The woman working check-in was very friendly and apologized for only having an available room on the ground floor. She advised us that if we didn't like the location or if noise was too much, that we could ask to move our room the following morning. I appreciated that offer but we actually loved the room. We were right next to the side exit to the parking lot, so our car was 20 feet away at all times. This was especially nice for hauling hiking equipment in and out. Despite her warning about possible noise, we heard nothing and slept like babies in our room every night. The hotel is pet-friendly and we saw lots of people staying with animals, but we never heard barking and it had no impact on our stay whatsoever. Breakfast was available starting at 6:30am each morning and was pretty good. We each got pre-made sausage and egg sandwiches each time that were pretty good, along with fruit and yogurt. The rooms were clean, very spacious and comfortable. It wasn't anything special honestly, but we're not staying in Moab to sit in our hotel room anyway. The location is also convenient as there is a BBQ restaurant right in the parking lot and the Moab Brewery is right across the street. We never walked to downtown, but it would be a relatively short walk if you wanted. Would definitely stay here again.

Our two rooms were very clean, large and comfortable. Service was very good. Given the current coronavirus situation, the bagged breakfast was fine - an English muffin sandwich with sausage and egg, yogurt, muffin and a breakfast bar (plus your choice of juice). A piece of fruit would have been nice - oh well. The beds and pillows were generally comfortable. La Quinta allows dogs, which we needed for our pup. BUT, there are lots of dogs at the hotel. We had NO issue with any barking dogs. But, if you have dog allergies, this is not your hotel. This La Quinta is much nicer than other La Quintas we’ve visited in the past. If you need a place to stay with your pup, this is your hotel

I booked this hotel for our group of sports car drivers for a 2 night stay to explore Moab. IMO it was the best bang for the buck for a room in town. Our schedule had us arriving around noon but check-in was 3 PM. The hotel agreed to let us park our cars there to go to lunch and use their restroom facilities. Our schedule had us back on the road at 1:30 to explore Arches. As we were driving there from Grand Junction, Thomas contacted me and offered to give our group first priority on any rooms that might be available for early check-in. Then, after we arrived, he had his staff rope off an area in the parking lot just for our sports cars so we would not be dented by the various high clearance off road vehicles common to Moab. All of this was his idea without any request from me. the rooms did not disappoint and there are several restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk to satisfy anyone's taste. I had a room facing away from Main Street that was very quiet. There were no complaints from anyone in or group.

Stayed for 3 nights in August 2019 with my wife and our 2 dogs. Hotel staff was polite and friendly. Lobby and hotel grounds were clean and fresh. Our room was on 1st floor where they try to place the pet owners. Room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The outdoor pool looked nice and the ‘pet walking area’ had lush grass and dog poop bags available. Additionally, Moab has a paved walking path the just happens to run behind the hotel. It’s concrete so it’s pet friendly from the excessive heat.
Breakfast bar was well supplied and food was delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay there again.

Hotel has everything you'll need for Moab. About 10 min to Arches, 30 min to Canyonlands. Good breakfast in the morning. Restaurants nearby. They do allow pets. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing we didn't like was the pool wasn't maintained. We had reserved a time to swim in it (because of Covid you have to reserve times) after a morning hike, and when we saw how dirty the pool was we didn't even jump in. Not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of.

As my family travels from South Dakota to Arizona, we usually stop in Moab for the night ... before heading out into some desolate areas / deserts. This LaQuinta is a nice place for an overnight, and the staff does a great job of welcoming our family to the area.

We have routinely been upgraded to a larger room, when the rooms are available. And the breakfast is definitely a great perk in the morning.

Although this site is kinda on the "edge" of town, it is still very close to some wonderful restaurants. Nonetheless, if desired, it is only about 10-15 minutes to the downtown area, with even more selections. We have not spent much time in Moab, but there appears to be some great shops available for travelers.

The only constructive feedback I can provide is the cost. As compared to other hotels in the area, the LaQuinta is definitely more expensive. Not sure why or how come ... as it does not necessarily provide any additional amenities. Yet, its quiet location and easy access to the highway for the next morning, I do not mind paying the added $10-12.

Room was large. Staff was very nice. Room was cleaned and towels replaced each day while I was out. Refrigerator and microwave in room. Breakfast was adequate. My heat was broken when I checked in, but they repaired it very quickly.

You can walk to a few restaurants but it is hard to cross the busy street. The outdoor pool was heated. The hot tub was nice. My room key wouldn’t work for the fitness room, but it appeared s though they had a few cardio machines. The bed was comfortable.

Unfortunately, this hotel was not built for quiet. The room above me was making so much noise it was unbelievable. Almost like someone was jogging in place. And then at 5 AM, I was awakened by TWO distinct sessions of passionate lovemaking. I could also hear people talking in the adjacent room and walking the hallway. I tried earplugs but I still could hear people.

I got the sense that the staff here cares more about the hotel than most hotel workers. They strive to do a good job. Unfortunately the cheap construction didn’t allow me to get 8 hours of sleep so I left slightly grumpy.

This is a very nice hotel! It is one of the newer La Quintas and pet friendly so always full. The pet area is grassed and quite large. The rooms are spacious and very clean. All COVID policies are being followed by the staff, masks, signage
in place and sanitation stations available. The problem is the guest sneaking in the side doors unmasked. One guest walked by the front desk unmasked, no one said a word and he got on the elevator coughing.
In our current situation, I still felt safer here than other hotels I have visited.

We had a great stay.
Room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was excellent and they let us to do early check in.
But what was most exceptional was the cleaning - I saw the cleaning lady lifting all beds, moving all objects from desk to clean the room - I've never saw such a thorough cleaning in a hotel.

We are trying to remember if they had Keurig cups in the room, and we don't think so. As I recall, they had the typical sealed bags of coffee (free) in the room, as well as a coffee pot and all the fixings; however, there always seemed to be two pots of good, fresh coffee right outside the elevators, night or day. The area was well-stocked with cream and sugar. We found it very convenient.

Not that I know of. However if you call they are very friendly and will be more than happy to answer any questions you have. Martin in particular is very knowledgeable about the area. If La Quinta doesn’t have any two bedroom units, I’m sure he can tell you who does. Or he can recommend a solution for you. Hope this helps answer your question.
