first time in Cuba and we had the most amazing time. Everyone was super helpful and very friendly. Very clean well kept resort very highly recommend. A+++ staff and wait staff bar is amazing as well

Review of Playa Paraíso - Cayo Coco Beach Resort

I recommend this hotel for people who understand what to expect from the Cuba all-inclusive experience. The workers are so nice, make the most of the resources at hand, pool and especially the beach are fabulous.
I went with my cousin for a restful beach vacation. We travelled the first week of October, which is low season, and a cheaper time of year. Value for cost made sense.
Cons
- rooms are very basic, and bathrooms really need LTC
- they only had shows 3 of the nights we were there, but that's not a draw for me
Pros
- the workers are very friendly and service-oriented
- the food was good, with more variety than I expected given the food shortages locals are experiencing
- everything is really clean and the grounds are very well kept
- the main bar has great coffee, and cava (Spanish champagne) was an unexpected treat
- Massages by the beach are good!
- I'm a dog person but loved all the cats and kittens. I didn't feed any ;) LOL
Tips
- for tips, they were happy to take loonies & twoonies, and every evening expect to be asked to exchange for Canadian Bills. Coins are useless to them. Bring some change, you can get more by exchanging daily, so bring $5s, $10s - make their life easier. Of course, they love USD$ too
- Bring bug spray and after bite - you'll need it if bugs like you and it's rainy season
I think the more you tip, the better service you'll get. You take care of them, they take care of you!

The experience has been great at the hotel. I stayed 2 weeks with one friend and we enjoyed everything in there, but mostly the staff. The people working here are very friendly and we made some great connections. They have a good variety of food at the buffet and 3 different restaurants to go in during the week. We didn't have any problems with the rooms and the beach is beautiful. No algae in the water and no jellyfish either.
If you have any problems during the trip, you can contact the ladies at customer service (Annelys) and she will take care of you.
Thanks for inviting me at the brand lovers dinner :)

This is such an amazing hotel staff are super friendly always willing to help. Rooms are clean, fresh beach towels available daily. You can always find something to eat, fresh pasta, salads, grilled meat or fish. If you come here you will not be disappointed. We cannot wait to return to Hotel Playa Parioso if you come here they will make you feel like family and the name Parioso is correct for this hotel it truly is Paradise. A special thank you to Annelys you truly are an amazing customer service representative

Everyone is super friendly. Annelys from costumer service is very attentive to the client's needs. Also, Carlos from the gym is awesome with teenagers at keeping them active. Food was good, no complaints. The snack bar is a fun place to chill and enjoy great cappuccinos made by Raul, David, Carlos....they go above and beyond to please their clients.
Room tip: We prefer rooms further from the pool area. Closer to the beach are the 6, 7, 8, 9 pavillons which are quieter.

We stayed 7 days and had an amazing trip. Good food very clean pool and rooms. The staff is so friendly and 1 service excellent Gus named Uvi was awesome! Very friend and goes out of his way to make you feel like home. Highly recommend this resort and seek him out when you get here. You won’t be disappointed!!
