Overall Great Place!

Reviewed 3 weeks ago
Enjoyed the room. Staff is excellent! Everything was clean. Lighting in the room was strangely arranged and slightly less than adequate. There are two air conditioning units in the room; the smaller one you can control, the main one you can't. As others have mentioned, the hotel layout is more complicated than a Holiday Inn Express, but there are lots of signs and labels (in the elevator) and once you figure it out, it's not a big deal.

When we arrived, the Westgate Park City resort seemed empty. It took one night in the two bedroom luxury villa to understand why. It's a terrible place to stay:

1) Very uncomfortable and rundown room. Spacious yet cramped somehow.

2) The furniture is cheap and awkward, the beds are sunken in, and the towels and bed linens are dingy.

3) Substandard room though we paid for a 2 bedroom luxury villa in the late/offseason. See our pics for the despicable view.

4) The building is a huge maze, have to take multiple elevators and walk for 10 minutes to get anywhere ... exhausting.

5) The window security fixture was broken. Someone came to fix it an hour or so later after multiple calls and rather dismissive attitude.

In summary, my honest review of the 2 bedroom luxury villa of Westgate Resort Park City, Utah: it's a bit of a sh^thole and we regret choosing it for our stay. I can't believe anyone gets suckered into timeshares here of all places, it's wild.

If you're on the fence, whether you're skiing or just visiting the local sites around Salt Lake City on your way to Zion National Park or Arches, you should go back to Google or Bing search for Park City resorts again and avoid this one.

Room tip: Don’t stay here. :(

Great location and great resort. Went hiking with Tucker and Elijah as part of a Westgate tour to Lambs Canyon. It was awesome and a great feature for the resort. Also drove 4 hours to Bryce Canyon. Resort is close to Walmart and great restaurants. Resort needs more tours though.

Room tip: Highly recommend the Lambs Canyon tour with Tucker and Elijah.

Arrived at Westgate’s resort in Park City UT to a hallmark picture entrance. Front desk was ready for are arrival. Guest services quickly unloaded are car onto luggage cart and dropped the luggage into the room while we were enjoyed the wood work and pictures on the walls. The room made you feel you were in cabin with no expense left out. When you have a small issue the front desk Gigi handle everything when in minutes. We were treated exceptional well from all Westgate’s employees. When looking for something they stop ask and take you to our Destination while explaining what to expect there. Very friendly World class resort. The shower room had a steam sauna in it. Talk about relaxing and enjoying the ski slopes view from your windows. Fred

The resort is massive and has everything you need, when I was on mypointsunlimited.com website I saw several pictures however getting here with my family in person was an amazing feeling. We came for a conference and also a ski trip and this is close to the ski slopes as it gets. The also have transportation to the city if you need that. All around this resort is the best place we have stay at for our annual ski trips.

Don't work here. It's a terrible hotel. The treatment of employees is awful, the pay is very low, and they don't address basic needs. The facilities are always broken, and they don't do anything about it. The accommodation they provide us as employees is horrible, and when they have to refund your deposit, they give back much less money than they should. This hotel is a disgrace. It promises things it doesn't fulfill. I would never return, neither as a guest nor to work.
