Fantastic Place to stay with an amazing location.

We booked our stay at the Riverside resort when we came to see a show at Shea’s in buffalo.
When booking, this came up as one of the most affordable and reasonably priced hotels (of quality) in the Buffalo Niagara area. Compared to other hotels – this was considerably less expensive when we were there.
It is located right on the Niagara River -overlooking the Grand Island, grand Island bridge, and the Canadian side of the river.
The views are gorgeous, and this would make for a great location for a wedding or special event.
The front desk staff were very friendly, inviting, and engaging. They were very helpful and informative.
The room we had was very spacious, and comfortable with 2 queen beds. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was tall – which is always important for us as one of us is 6’4”. Our room overlooked the Pool area, and the river beyond that.

Our room had a very cool feature - a light up knocking system, for people who are deaf.

There is a large indoor pool – enclosed in a sunroom – making the pool useful all year round.
There is an onsite restaurant and bar – which we didn’t take advantage of – but it looks lovely.

The hotel offers breakfast but again we did not take advantage of it – as we needed to sleep in.

There is a $10 parking fee for staying here – which I wasn’t aware of (I didn’t notice it when booking).
Take a walk around the grounds at the river front along the boardwalk and enjoy the beauty of the property.

This is a lovely hotel with amazing views and a very convenient location to many amenities, shopping, restaurants, etc. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
