When we checked in, the lady was kind but she was more focused on the conversation she had with the other lady behind the desk, she did not give me information about the pool or the hours of breakfast until I asked her. When we got to my room everything was fine until we decided to take out the sofa bed, went to bring the pillow and the extra blanket from the closet and found the pillow with three yellow spots, I called the front desk to let them know and ask for two pillows and two more blankets, the lady who answered told me that she would send someone with the extra things, 35 minutes later she called again because the pillows and the blankets did not arrive. A man answered and told me that they don’t have more because they had many people in the hotel. he only gave me a blanket of two that I asked for. I had to use some clothes as a pillow to sleep because my children and my wife had the ones that were stained. The next morning we went to breakfast and I had to pay extra for breakfasts because the reservation only covered $ 30 for breakfast. When I made the reservation I paid extra for the included breakfasts for the members of my family. On the second day we went to have breakfast at the restaurant and they told us that we had to wait 45 minutes to get the table, we decided to wait and I decided to go ask after 30 minutes and they told me that after 25 minutes they could give me a table but that they wouldn't serve breakfast 45 minutes after giving us the table because the kitchen was super busy with orders. We decided not to wait and I finally ended up with a $ 30 card that I will never use again. I understand that the situation with covid19 is very complicated but if the hotel is not prepared, it does not have the resources and the necessary employees would not have fully opened with all capacity. There was no apology or request for compensation at any time.

Unfortunately the wait time at the restaurant was due to being sold out and a Holiday weekend, we appreciate your patience with the restaurant. In regards to the pillow situation, that is NOT ok from our staff and I would like to apologize on behalf of the Front Desk staff - this will be a learning opportunity. As I’m trying to sleep in my room right now there’s a wedding reception and loud band playing right below us. Coincidentally the fire alarm was set off last night and our entire family was asked to stand outside in 40 degree temps. So, while traveling with 4 grandkids, no sleep for 2 consecutive nights. For the price charged for our 2 rooms I am extremely unhappy.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review during your stay with us. We apologize sincerely for the fire alarm, unfortunately to ensure the safety of our guests the alarms go off anytime a carbon monoxide/smoke is detected. It is the law for guests to evacuate, and it turned out guests were smoking in their room and then shortly evicted. I will be sending you a separate email explaining the compensation we provided. Thank you again for being a Hilton Honors Member with us as well!

I am a diamond member of Hilton Honors so it was so nice to have the free breakfast and water. I did have an upgrade but unfortunately it was city view. All the suites on Riverview were taken so I took a standard room with a Riverview which was my choice.
The beds were okay and the pillows were average.
The front desk staff were polite and very nice. The food was good but overpriced. I had ants in the restroom many, many ants, I was told all they can do was spray Raid on them. The Greyline tour was the highlight of my stay, I loved it! I was so tired by the end. It would have been nice to have a bottle water offered. He was very informative and knew the falls very well! He also made sure we got the wettest spot on the Maid of the Mist! lol! Fish group tour was group. The hotel was nice but not spectacular ! Sebastian the bell boy was awesome help with my luggage! Made my day to have the help!

Room tip: Riverview is best even if you get double beds! Restaurant needs more help so if you are in a rush, skip the Parkway!

Great hotel less than a mile away from the American Falls. We loved the path directly behind the hotel. The hotel was comfortable with a fitness center, pool and jacuzzi. Our room was not serviced due to COVID, but they sent a full set of towels and amenities.

The cleanliness of the rooms is horrible and unpleasant. As soon as we got to the assigned room we found hair inside the nightstand. The bathroom table had grime stains on it. The blankets didn't have a bad smell, but they had a dark color, they weren't completely white.

This hotel is wonderful. The entire atmosphere was warm and inviting. The location to the Falls is exquisite. Just feet’s away from all the attraction. Was there with my husband and 13yrd old daughter got our 7th year wedding anniversary. It was wonderful. You will not be disappointed!!
