I stayed there on Jan 3 2022 for 5 days room was not clean.I complained that my tub wasn’t draining 3 times I was offered to Chang my room the day before I left. The problem was never fix unsanitary condition had to bleach the shower before and after.The escalator was broke it did get fixed for about 12 hours.The handicap doors leading to the parking were taped closed .I was afraid sometimes because of the bums and drug people around the entrances.I am from Newyork and I felt like Iwas back in the south Bronx.The Rio Hotel needs better management and renovation it is outdated.I stayed at other hotels in Vegas but will never stay at the Rio even if is was for free.I booked on bjs travel was told by the Hotel that’s it’s a third party that’s what you get stay away from bjs travel

The lobby and surrounding areas are incredibly smoky. If there is a filtration system, it does not work.
The room was OK - nothing special, but it was clean. The smoke was a deal-breaker. Would never stay there again.
