Quiet stay close to everything

Reviewed 3 weeks ago
Let me preface my review by saying that we stayed at Elara as a guest of an HGV owner, so we were not charged resort fees or parking fees. Check-in was quick and easy at 6pm, but checkout had a long line at 9am (we took advantage of express checkout as a result). The room was absolutely beautiful, very clean, and we had a great view of the Sphere, which was fun to watch, especially at night. We didn't use the pool, but it seemed small for the size of the hotel and was always packed - there also weren't very many umbrellas available (which is a must for me in the hot Nevada sun). Being connected to the Miracle Mile mall was convenient as there were several ABC stores where we could grab sandwiches and drinks/snacks for the room and several quick and inexpensive restaurants right there. Our room was a king suite, which included a full kitchen, living area, and projection TV (which was nice to use at night while relaxing in the evening). The A/C air flow seemed to be lacking in the bedroom area, unless we left the doors open to allow the cooler air to flow through the living area, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. Everything was otherwise quite comfortable. The hotel is a short walk away from some of the more popular hotels/casinos on the strip - took us about 15 minutes or so to walk to Casear's where we had dinner and show reservations. Parking was easy and all of the staff were wonderful.

I’ve stayed here a few times and just finished up a couple nights. This property is fresh and clean with no casino. It’s central on the strip and a very pleasant getaway from the noise of Vegas without leaving the strip. I’m partial to Hilton as a lifetime diamond member. However, regardless of your hotel chain preference you would do well to check out this property.

I recently stayed at your hotel on a business trip with my husband. Unfortunately, it was 110° almost every day we were there. You had a beautiful pool unfortunately in that massive pool you had maybe 10 umbrellas for use. You had many many cabanas for rent for $175 per day. An outrageous amount especially considering there were only 10 umbrellas for use. In order to get one of those 10 umbrellas you had to be outside the doors of the pool by 7:30 AM at the latest where there were several people lined up waiting to get in to try and get one of those few umbrellas. It seems to me with a pool, the size that you have and the unrelenting heat in Las Vegas, you could have at least three times the umbrellas that you do. If you didn’t have an umbrella, it was almost impossible to sit out there in the sun and heat. You definitely need to address this issue.
Your hotel was beautiful. The rooms were lovely. However, unless the next time I go to Vegas and I check to see that you have not put more umbrellas around your pool. I will not be staying at this hotel.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us, Gail. We have since received our new pool umbrella's and would like to report additions have increased significantly the number of shaded areas available at the pool. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an enhanced overall experience in the future.

Great place with a good location for tourism, food, and entertainment. The proximity of the Planet Hollywood, and the attached mall make shopping, and live shows easy to get to. The pool is very nice, and my wife enjoyed it thoroughly with the outside bar close by, it's a fun time.

Room tip: The car pool for Uber, Lyft, taxi are in the basement.

My husband and I traveled with our daughter.

ROOMS
This was one of the few hotels I could find close to the strip with a full-sized refrigerator and a coffee maker. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite with a sofa sleeper. The couch is really comfortable. The suite is huge so we didn’t feel cramped at all; it was very open and comfortable. One of the other reasons I choose this hotel is for the floor to ceiling windows which we loved. The bedroom has doors between the living room and bathroom so everyone had separate space and privacy as needed. People had mentioned the air conditioning but we didn’t have a problem (12th floor) and kept the automated shades down during the day. Great shower water pressure, hot water and the rooms have good/strong flushing toilets.

HOTEL
The pool is a great size. It has a pool bar and you can order food. We met some awesome people!! Reviews mentioned pool chairs and yea, the earlier the better; however, we just needed one for our things and stayed in the pool most of the time (triple digit temps) They have a big open area for Uber pickups and drop offs. The hotel lobby has a wonderful scent.

LOCATION
Perfect. I also choose this hotel because it is just off the strip and is quiet. The walk to the strip is only 6 minutes- you can go outside or you go through the Miracle Mall which is air-conditioned. Lots of shops and inexpensive restaurants close by.

In closing, I would absolutely stay here again!!

Absolutely a wonderful hotel to stay at Hilton never disappoints me. It’s clean, there’s no casino in this hotel. Concierge and employees are wonderful. Security at the elevator is a huge plus clean rooms that are extremely spacious and comfortable.

Room tip: Absolutely no complaints at all.
