Wonderful hotel. Great amenities, very clean, safe, convenient, and at a competitive price. Next time will come back here. We miss the boat ride from Sapphire Falls but the bus transportation was actually much faster than the boat. But ... well it's a bus. Overall this is THE place to stay and we'll be coming here again.

My only issue was that there was a slight smell of Marijuana smoke in the hallway near our room and a bit in the room itself. It was slight and once you were in the room for several minutes we didn't notice it. But we did go buy some air freshener. My advice to Universal is to more strictly enforce the non-smoking policy especially when it comes to illegal substances. I'm sure this occurs from time to time in all hotels these days so we really didn't make a big deal out of it.

We recently stayed at Cabana Bay during our Halloween Horror Nights vacation. Cabana Bay is an amazing resort!! It was very clean and all the staff were very friendly and professional too. The food at the quick service (Bayside Dinner) was better than most alternative options. And the Starbucks team was the best ever!!! The bus transportation to and from the parks made it super easy to get in and out seamlessly. It was a great vacation and Cabana Bay resort made it even better!!

Great atmosphere as always, staying at the universal hotels really does add to the whole universal experience. This hotel is clearly aimed at families, however as a couple we always find the atmosphere and services amazing. The volcano bay view is just incredible from room and plenty of food and drink options- my one comment would be on the bayside dinner - the food is good and canteen style setup with multiple kiosks works really well, however after visiting here for many years, the food options remain the same. It would be great to freshen these up a little and add some variety.
