We have spent three summer vacations at this resort and we will continue to return whenever we visit the Orlando area. Every member of the staff we met seemed to enjoy being at work (instead of being miserable and waiting to go home). Smiles from the staff as you pass them, extra activities throughout the day, and even had food for guests on Memorial Day at the pool. Absolutely recommend staying here.
The front desk staff are helpful and courteous. The rooms are nothing fancy, but that is okay. Comfortably slept 4 of us. The kitchen and living room areas are nice spaces to relax after going to the parks and convenient for making breakfast. My biggest complaint is the water pressure in the master bath shower was very low. Also, there are no elevators to the 2nd and 3rd floors, so if you have a lot of luggage be sure to request a first floor room.
For the price and location, this is a safe choice.
This is my third time staying at Orbit One Vacation Villas.
I've enjoyed my time there so much that I decided to stay for a whole week this time around and that still wasn't enough time!
The main bedroom is the size of a standard hotel room and includes a comfy king size bed with big comfy pillows. (Still trying to find pillows that comfy for myself!). You also get an open floor plan full kitchen, dining room, living room another bedroom and 2 bathrooms, including one with the most amazing huge sunken tub! (And a washer and dryer, too!)
Lots of amenities, including 2 pools, hot tub, 24 hour fitness room, playground, etc.
Location is great. Walking distance to all kinds of restaurants and gift shops and Walmart.
Also just a few miles from Walt Disney World.
Service is great and everyone is very friendly and helpful. The price is AMAZING for all that you get!
It's only been a few days since I left and I already want to go back!
This is an older resort with nice spacious rooms had a home feeling with the balcony or screened in porch. There are two pool areas the one with the slide and then the one without which is good for adults but the hot tub is on the one with the slides. The hot tub is bigger than the usual. Close to everything disney and nearby. Lots of food choices very close by. As well as shopping close by. I would recommend and I would come here again. Travel with my sixteen year old niece this time.
Typical of former Diamond property (now a Hilton). Economy kit counter and cabinets. Oversized tub in master bath but no handicap bar. Lo-boy toilet. Given many TS owners are of age those are negatives.
When checking in the concierge tried to offer me a free 7 day stay at a number of Hilton resorts INCLUDING free RT airfare. When I told her I was almost 78 she instantly withdrew the offer. Age discrimination? Location is steps away from a main hwy with non-stop traffic and tacky tourist junk shops. There are designated parking spots, 2 pools, a hot tub and work out room.
