The hotel itself is good. Our room was great. Renovated, and clean. It even had a stove for cooking. But you need to bring everything to cook on it. Beds were soft. Ac worked great. The only problem was noise from generator behind our window. That was a big minus. It was hard to sleep with it. Breakfast was good continental Breakfast.

Great spots in Hollywood Beach for a great price. You'll only look bad when you want to argue with front desk over a price mistake easily could have been avoidable if you just pay attention when making your reservation, cause it very peaceful at night...

See photos - avoid all Hollywood Beach Hotel properties! Unfortunately I booked this not realizing it was HBH property on Priceline and was not eligible for a refund. We stayed at the Oceans Sound on Nevada. Slum lords! Room dingy & dirty, door didn’t shut properly. Coffee maker - No coffee. Beach - No towels, Kitchen - No cups, silverware or plates. Literally no basics in this so called suite. They advertise free breakfast well thats five blocks away at the “ main “ location with the check in office. Two people working the check in office for all these properties. Check in was chaotic. Oh and they’re charging 18$ a night for parking. See photos for all their locations to avoid!

Everyone was great the stay was lovely yet disappointed on the customer service over the phone and not receiving my deposit yet. Other than that 7/10 the pools could be updated along with laundry rooms plus the machines a little scary.

Hollywood beach hotels and their multiple properties
(swan, blue wave, the seagull, sea turtle and neptune)are all one big RED FLAG.. THIS PLACE is the biggest SCAM in florida
NEVER stay here..
I call it the SPIRIT airlines of hotels..They operate as if they have a license to steal. (Bait and switch)
They will surprise you with $50 a day fees, after they RUDELY telling you that you are unable to check in due to the fact all their properties have no power upon arrival. that you are to return in several hours. It was already late. (7:30pm)They dont even apologize to you for the inconvenience.
I was not allowed in and had to return at almost 10pm. I only booked this hotel
(the neptune)because my flight was cancelled and i needed a place to stay. (Cared less about oceanfront)Didnt know the neptune was affiliated with hollywood beach hotels. (Very misleading)
When i finally tried checking in and they surprised me with a $50 a day resort fee which is for a housekeeping service that you may never receive to begin with. They’re excuse is that it has an ocean view but in reality all their properties are of low quality and they provide very poor service..
Not even the most prestigious hotels charge anywhere near that. This place does not have the quality to ask for that. Not even in spring break.
Although i booked it online through a second party, they will blame the second party but they could've offered me a room at another one of their properties that doesn't obligate you to pay a huge resort fee. Did not care to offer an alternative.
My itinerary spoke NOTHING of this daily fee. I was paid in full, after i booked it. Which is what my itinerary clearly said. Had it been something like $10 or even $20 a day a would've not disputed it. But they did not care to accommodate me in any way or suggest any solution and heartlessly told me you booked it through second party so thats your problem your assed out. Pay the extra fee or leave.
