Nice employees. I did not get the room I booked. Maintenance could improve especially in times like these with the pandemic. Loved the location. Rooms could use door mats either outside, inside or for safety and cleanness.

I originally choose Oceanside queen suite for myself husband and two kids. After a bit more research and reading I realized this building was set back and not on the actual boardwalk of Hollywood. I called and had them change me to a two queen bed oceanfront. The building was called Paradise and it was right on the boardwalk. We were on the second floor (I would recommend) it had a full kitchen two queen beds and a chair. It was PERFECT! The kitchen was a seperate room and was hotter as the ac was in the window of the other room. But it wasn’t a problem as I wasn’t spending time in the kitchen. There was no mold, no dirt, no sand, no bugs. Bathroom was clean and just perfect. A full size mirror on bathroom door nice hot water and great pressure. I brought a table cloth and extra sheet and covered the chair in the main room. I brought my own beach towels (needed). There were only two shower towels but that was fine. Key card worked great and AQUA at reception was amazing. If you really want an on the beach experience get the oceanfront! We didn’t use the pools but we only stayed one night. There was a group in the room next to us that had to much to drink and started to get loud /fight but my husband let them know we had kids and to keep it down. We had used the bbq grill at the bottom of our building and made steak while watching and listening to the ocean late into the night. There was a local strange guy staying downstairs but he was harmless and was very kind would ride his bike to the store and grab us ice or gatorades for a tip. I can’t wait to go back. Also security for the hotel was a large sweet young adult that kept monitoring the grounds.

right in front of the beach, literally! Room too expensive for what they offered. I didn't see cockroaches at all; for those who wonder. Staff super nice. I think they should have better direct instructions as to where their office for check in is located as to where you are really staying. I spent a good 15-20 minutes trying to figure that part out. Also, they do not have a pool at all locations; you have to walk to the nearest one. I think there are 3 of them. They hold $20 cash only per each beach towel you request. They will refund you at check out. Other than that. I want to say that I will stay again in the future cuz I love the fact they are not in your business and looking after you, if you know what I mean :) Hope this is helpful for all of you out there.

We stayed just 2 nights, we got are room for cheap and got everything as advertised. We got a kitchenette so we can cook, clean bed and a clean bathroom.
Pros. Close to the beach Cheapest room with kitchenette we could find A little store in the hotel with thing to eat and cook And good and polite enough attention from the staff ones you get to know them.
Cons 18 dollars parking in the hotel a day/night on top of the price for the room the wifi isn’t very good The AC system if very old, it works but it is old and loud. And you pay a 100 dollars deposit in case you break anything, which in its self there is nothing wrong with it, but you will find that you don’t have enough plates or glasses with the kitchenette set and you will have to ask for stuff, like glasses, plates, we had a reservation for 3 and got only 2 towels, 1 plate, 1 bowl and non glasses or mugs and stuff like that. Like I said it is not the end of the world but it would be nice not to have to go ask for a mug for the coffee machine you get with the room and they forgot to replace.
If you have a bigger budget go somewhere nicer, if you do not, stay here, is not the best but you would not die.

*Buyer beware* is a word to the wise. Our stay was uneventful, but listening to others at check in, it seemed like our stay was the exception to the rule. If you are thinking you’re staying at a Hilton or Marriott you will be disappointed. I don’t know where they took the photos of the rooms on their website. There’s no 24 hour vacancy between stays as was indicated by their Covid policy. Was looking to check in before 4pm but was told that the room was “dirty” and wouldn’t be ready before 4pm. I was under the impression that the prior guests checked out late that day and they hadn’t had time to clean it. While waiting to check in one guest described their room as “disgusting”, and another said that they couldn’t stay there because of “the mold in the bathroom and the cockroaches” (he had planned on a two week stay). When you check in they have you sign a form saying that they will not give a refund for “any” reason. We saw one person who, upon seeing his room said “no way I am staying here”, and went to the Marriott down the road, with no money refunded. (Makes me wonder how much money they make off of people who look at the rooms and then walk away.) Since there are 13 different locations that comprise Hollywood Beach Hotels, the only property I can address is the Paradise Hotel. Our room had a king bed, a kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffeemaker and toaster. The TV reception was spotty at best. We did have internet and hot water. The floors were tiled. Anyone who had issues with the hotel were not able to talk with the manager in person as far as I was able to tell. The desk personnel took the brunt of all the things that were going wrong, without having any power to make things right. Even though our stay was uneventful, I will not stay here again.

Amazing experience for me to enjoy my favorite beach in South Florida. I want to point the staff’s attitude! They are the best! They are very busy and that doesn’t refrain those ladies from being very clear and informative about parking, security deposits, location of your room and everything guests are constantly asking non stop! 😊 The hotels are many small buildings together and many of them are very close to the beach! The best one in that area. The prices couldn’t be better. My room was very clean and provided me everything I needed.

A friend and I stayed in an Oceanside room with two queen beds on the 2nd floor. The view of the ocean was really nice and the location was amazing as well. You have all the shops and restaurants just a block or so to the south on the boardwalk. We arrived early Thursday morning to check in. We were able to check-in early for an $18 fee. Well worth it at 10am to get settled, grocery store, lunch and lay on the beach for the day. However, there was a delay getting into our room as the key card reader was not working. But Jose, with maintenance came and fixed it right away. There are three pools on the property but we did not go to any of those. The few cons: While checking in another customer was in the waiting area chatting up my friend and me. That was fine except the things he was saying. Calling the place a roach motel then laughing and saying it wasn’t. Asking us where our husbands were etc. Not the fault of the hotel but still shady. There are several buildings on the property and our room did NOT have roaches. Being on the 2nd floor felt a little safer than the ground level. The AC unit ran the whole time. The heat of mid September and the low capacity of the AC unit could not keep up. The room was consistently running day and night with the daytime temp steady at about 80 degrees until the sun went down. The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan and the window did not open so it was steamy in the kitchen if we took a slightly warm shower.
The first pic is of Hollywood Beach mid-day on a Thursday. The 2nd pic is of the hotel facing the beach at about midnight Friday evening. After all of the nickel and dime fees the room ended up being about $140/night, almost double the advertised rate through hotels.com. Overall, I would stay there again if I had to but would rather spend a little extra for a better place.

The staff is very professional, Knowledgeable and fast to set you for your room. Room was clean, offered a Kitchenette full stock, refrigerator(a big one ) and microwave, a good closet space for clothe and/ or pantry provide toiletries, towels etc. rooms are not set for a peaceful sleep, not curtains and a lot of Light all night long Is very loud and noisy, (guess not luck with neighbors) They will charge you for the parking not included or at least not well specified when you booked your ticket Excellent location just steps from the Hollywood Boardwalk, we love it

I had young adult family members come to visit me from Indiana like 18-20 years old young. This hotel was perfect for location, literally half a block from the beach, conveniently located to whatever food or shopping they desired. The room was more spacious than expected and very clean. Full size refrigerator, 2 electric burner stove, dishes and pots/pans with utensils provided in the room. My only complaint is housekeeping never came once to the room to switch out towels for 4 people or restock toilet paper. We had to go to the storage room which was left open and get our own towels and stuff. Nobody told us if that is how it was done here at this hotel. Besides that I still give it a 5 star review.

The location is great! Thats the best part. The size of the rooms are good but the lack of attention is obvious. You can tell the rooms are quickly cleaned. The person(s) cleaning do not check everything thoroughly before leaving the room. The blinds were all over the place, the curtains were a mess and dirty. There was dust on the shelving in the bathroom, etc. It is a shame because this hotel could be beautiful. Just need better supervision. The Office staff/Manager was arguing with a customer when we went to check in so they "upgraded" our room. Parking is $20 a day but they are not organized to make sure every room gets one guaranteed parking in their area. They oversell the parking and you have to figure out where you can park. Easy fix...number the spots and give everyone a spot. We went to extend our stay one more day, since they "upgraded" our room because we witnessed yelling in the office, we had to pay the upgraded price. lol. We told her why they upgraded us and she said, "well we can't keep giving upgrades for free". Nice customer service! We asked to move to the size we booked and the girl looked annoyed and said it was $20 cheaper than the one we were in due to the holiday weekend. Overall, the owners need to train their office staff on how to treat customers, they need to get organized, and someone needs to walk all those rooms to see the attention to detail. I can say this because I manage a 700 unit property and I would be mortified if any of that happened at my property.

I don't understand why you make such comments. I saw no drugs or heavy drinking. This is a beautiful well manicured area with nice people. One of the best beach/boardwalk communities I have been to and I beach vacation a lot.
I've stayed there twice. In my experience, that has never been the case. The hotel is not brand new. It looks like it was built in the 60s. I have been there twice for a getaway. My wife and I plan to go there a third time. Every is clean and up to standard.
If you are expecting top rated amenities at bottom rate prices, this place is not for you. I also read the same reviews that you did. There are also good ones there. My conclusion, go there to have a good time by the beach. If you want to be waited hand and foot, Margaritaville is right around the corner (about fIve times more expensive).
