Sad to say that this little wonder by the beach is closing. Was there this past Sunday with my two little girls and had a great time. The highlight was Andy the cook who so adored my two kids. By the end Of the trip they were calling him uncle Andy. Beautiful beach and wonderful sand. A little outdated by the pool area but I guess that is the reason they are closing up. Will miss the beach and Andy

The ocean is amazing! Just breathtaking. Unfortunately the hotel is closing the end of this month and my family won't be able to enjoy the beach anymore. I hope they don't Change it to much. Prices are awesome and front desk Kionia was really sweet. Hope it's a speedy renovation.

It's hard to believe that I've never before stayed in Lauderdale By-the-Sea having lived in South Florida my whole life (I'm 22) and having stayed in easily probably a couple dozen SoFlo hotels. We stayed at Florida Beach Hotel which was supposedly bought out and is literally days away from starting renovations & transitioning for the new ownership.
Long story short I really enjoyed the beach & all the beautiful "sights". Memorial Day Weekend definitely draws a young crowd.
Oh and if you want good food from a guy who knows how to run a kitchen all on his own FIND MY MAN ANDY! You'll thank me!

Enjoyed very nice day at the beach...amazing Summer the barkeep was hopping all over the place and Andy the cook was making up burger after burger and wing after wing. Understand they will be remodeling soon....

Andy the cook is amazing ! Ted the bartender is so gracious while he serves us drinks ! My gramps and I go down there every Friday for drinks and everyone is very sweet and smiley. This place is full of happiness and fun times . Parking close to everything .. Public across the street and beach right smack dab in front ! This spot is a place to bring new friends and old friends . Kid friendly !!!!! Perfect shade on these 100 degree days. Not far from Peir . Night life at night walking distance . This is where it's at !!!!!
