I agree with every bad review on here. The age of the hotel is old, yes, but they have made no effort to update anything but the entry and front open areas. The rooms were small and furnished like dorm rooms. Filthy, layers of dirt so thick my son thought they put felt on the door to keep it from slamming. We had two rooms. Beds were not consistent and had to put socks behind the headboard so it didn’t slam into the wall when only turning over in bed. No lock on the door from the inside for additional safety. Dirty and small. The biggest thing a traveler should know is this hotel
Is like a bad hotel at spring break. The tiki bar is close to all rooms with balconies and attracts locals and travelers from other hotels. It can get obnoxious. 8:30 pm on Sunday night and we can hear them SCREAMING “hey we want some pu$$ayyy” as well as loud everything else that was played. Which is fine if that is what you want. But the website is definitely misleading. This is not a classy hotel. Not for families. This is a party hotel to send your college kids who really don’t care if it’s clean, elevators are working or they don’t clean your room for a few days.
Oh and they rent the “condos” in the hotel long term. Down the hall there was a woman with two dogs and cat, who left her rollator out in the hall sometimes with the dogs tied to it, that whole area smelled. Such an odd place. Don’t waste your $
And check your bills, double charges more than once from grill
