Spent 3 nights at the Carmel Mission Inn, great location between the Barnyard and the Crossroads. Pleasant greeting from front desk staff and clean room. Due to Covid, no one came in to service our room daily, but they did deliver clean towels and coffee for the duration of our stay.

Stayed at the hotel for a weekend and enjoyed the location and convenience to great food withing walking distance. Though it is pandemic times, the hotel was very full and not everyone was respecting the mask requirements. The hotel has a nice mid-century décor in the rooms though looking in detail, it feels like a partial renovation and not full-blown upscale sophisticated vibe since there are details of covering old motel-look combined with other pretty cool pieces. For example, the baseboards and blinds are older and show the aging of the property, whereas other details like the wall paper on the bathroom looks very cool. Comfy bed, noisy property though where you can hear what your neighbors upstairs, downstairs and next to you are doing. Overall, decent and affordable stay. The properly was not fully cleaned and the room had some ‘running dust’ as well. No room services due to COVID-19, which is good since you can clean surfaces when you get in and then know you are the only one in the room until you check out.

It was a lovely stay, with lovely staff & guests alike, nice and clean, accommodating (crib in our room), near a lot of shopping and food, and I was able to purchase wine from the lobby for our room! Small bathroom but still lovely...even sexy!!! We will likely be back :)

We've got the beautiful and clean room. We spent our time in the huge pool which was nice and warm water. We stayed for one nice after visit Big Sur. We picked this hotel because we wanted to explore Camel-by-the-sea. We will go to this place for the next visiting Camel be the sea.

Nice, quiet, and clean hotel. Loved the blue pool at night. I liked the fact that the room was not cleaned daily therefore avoiding possible exposure to COVID.
Across the street there is a shopping center with restaurants, stores, and a Safeway.
