Lands in Love / Animal Love is a true beautiful sanctuary!!! If you love animals, the rainforest, fresh healthy food, and a meaningful experience, you must come here!!! The owners are 16 friends who have dedicated their lives to taking care of the over 1000 animals here, cats, dogs, birds, horses, goats, sheep, and more! They don’t turn any away, and instead provide the care necessary to save all the animals even if it costs them a fortune. I was so moved by their dedication! You can also volunteer here and stay for free for two weeks. We are so grateful for this stay. It was so special to wake up every morning to a gorgeous view of lush rainforest, then go eat a yummy breakfast, and embark on our adventure for the day! Highly recommend the tours (we did canopy tour, ATV, and canyoning) and make sure you visit all the cute animals and show them love!!! Truly a special place!

In love with Lands in Love!! Here is a breakdown for those interested in staying (and you really should!)

Rooms - Comfortable, cute. Always had hot water. rooms cleaned daily.

Food - SO SO good. 100% vegan and you could never tell, i did not miss animal products at all.

Staff - Very friendly, always willing to help out

Activities - The STAR of the show! we did canyoning, hiking, atving, ziplining through the hotel's activity center. we felt safe, the guides were so knowledgeable, and we made memories that are going to last a lifetime

Grounds - The hotel is so lush and beautifully maintained. Washrooms are kept very clean and there are plenty on site, the pool is warmed to comfort, and the lobby is full of interesting and delightful decor

Animals - okay, i lied-- THIS is the star of the show! the hotel is home to a rescue center of dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, and farm animals. you could take the dogs for walks and hang out with the animals, they're all so adorable and enjoyable to meet. some have amazing stories that break your heart, but the hotel does everything to give animals a comfortable home when they have nowhere else to turn.
