We loved our stay so much that I actually cried when leaving! From the arrival right through the last step in n the water taxi was a dream. Hope to go back one day. The snorkelling just outside our Bure was so good we did not venture out of the resort. Instead we soaked up 8 unforgettable days at malolo. The meal plan was a no brainer. Excellent value if you have teen sons who eat lots. Perfect holiday topped up with great weather.
A beautiful location. Nice rooms could do with an upgrade. We had a lovely time celebrating 3 family birthdays. Pools and snorkelling were great. Kids had a great time. Restaurant bar and food service was beyond slow.
Weather was superb, location was amazing and I've never said so many Bula!'s in my life.
Staff would stop what they were doing to say Bula, and we did not have to leave the resort for any reason. Every so often service might slip with one or two individual staff, but not enough to detract from an otherwise amazing family holiday. Thanks!
Our family of four (children are 4 and 2 years old) had the best time at Malolo. It was our first experience of the islands having previously stayed at Outrigger and Intercontinental and it was raw, rustic and totally rad!
Kids loved the pool and easy access to the beach, warm sea water and the private and spacious bures. But most of all, loved the amazing and always smiling staff. Hospitality and warmth was everywhere we went and made our stay extra special. We did not anticipate using Kids Club or the nanny service much but the kids liked it and the staff made it so easy, we did get to use it a couple of times so my wife and I could go do something together, like snorkel off the beach and see an array of coral, fish, a sting ray and a reef shark or grab a beautiful dinner at their adults only restaurant. We had a very lovely experience at Malolo. The resort was lovely, the welcome was wonderful.
We reached early , and our room was not ready, but we were still made welcome. ( the room was not ready until after 3:30 which was the only blemish during our stay) .
The friendliness of every single staff was outstanding! I'd like to mention a few names that were exceptional. Kalo, Seriana, Taina, Melly, Mack, Cora, and all the singing crew like Elisa ( elli) and Solo. All staff speak very highly of the resort which speaks volumes of how well the staff themselves are treated.
The food was awesome and lovely. Drinks , both cocktails and mocktails were awesomely prepared. The cocktails had the right amount of alcohol in them to be enjoyed ( unlike some other places)
The facility Manager Zack runs a very lovely ship there and makes it a point to meet and greet and farewell every single guest. Kudos to him Well done.
All in all, a fantastic holiday.
