Sarana is amazing. They have really nice staff, the best food, good laundry service a nice pool and Beach and the rooms are really nice to. De beds are nice en the room is clean. I really recommend staying here when you visit Koh Phangan
Stayed four nights here. Very warm and helpful staff at office. Beachfront so great sunsets. Internet occasionally spotty within the bungalow I stayed in, but otherwise no complaints. If you want a social vibe, this place seems to have it - there were people out until late in the common areas that seemed to have a great time.
One small suggestion - wish they would dim the lighting at the beach some - at night, instead of the dim ambient lighting of nearby places, which is charming and magical, this place had what felt like spotlights brightening up the whole space brightly.
I spent my last 2 nights in Thailand here hoping to get some veg time by the pool and catch up on some work but neither happened. They cater to young tour groups that take over every single lounger first thing in the morning so I ended up having to go to other resorts to get any space. They also have zero work spaces, not even an outlet in the restaurant area. And the room had one single outlet that was above the door?? I had to build a tower just to charge my phone. All in all the place is cute, the pool and beach area are picturesque at sunset but they need to double up on loungers and create a better environment for those who aren't apart of the tours.

Sarana was definitely the highlight of my Thailand trip. The atmosphere was just unbelievably hospitable and welcoming. It’s right at the beach so you can swim both in the pool and in the sea. The rooms are great, nice simple wooden bungalows, dorms or if you need more space there are options for a little fancier poolside or sea view bungalows. Sarana is very well maintained as in everything is kept clean and the pool is taken care of. You’ll also have access to free purified water to reduce the use of disposable plastic bottles which is fantastic! The staff is super helpful and friendly especially Jasmin who gave us some really good recommendations on what to do and where to go on this beautiful island. Wonderful ten out of ten stay in Koh Phangan absolutely no complaints.
