We had a large group that stayed there in numerous Lodges and rooms. Lodges get hot upstairs, but the bedrooms which are downstairs cool perfectly. Cheryl, the Property Manager and staff were all excellent, super helpful in all aspects of our stay. Cheryl's backup Gail, was terrific too! We really liked everyone who worked there. Breakfast was great. Place has a really neat setup. West End is where it is at! We will definitely be returning

The service of the resort was amazing and the host Gail was incredibly kind and friendly.
She helped us to navigate the island and she was so helpful in terms of feeling warm and welcome with the stay. We booked this resort mostly because we had another lodiging situation .
We needed a place to stay in an emergency and when we met the host it totally sold us and literally saved our vacation.
The staff were also really nice in the breakfast area and booked an amazing massage on the resort itself

Cocolobo Resort is a great place with scenic views from the pool and quiet nights. We loved the breakfasts included with our stay and the AC to cool off at night. Highly recommend!

Quiet, serene, peaceful, the absolute perfect place for relaxing and unwinding. First time to Roatan, and will certainly go back. Cocolobo was recommended to us by family; near a place they had stayed in the past and liked the location; and we were not disappointed! A short walk to the beach, shops, dining, diving and entertainment. Cheryl and staff were fantastic!!! Breakfast daily was such a treat and a surprise bbq on Sunday made us feel like long time friends. The accommodations were extremely comfortable in the Port Royal suite. Kitchenette fully stocked with pots and pans, filtered water, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and fridge. Comfortable king bed, slept like a log!
Huge shower with HOT water, so refreshing. King size bed looking out over the deck and ocean, with the chance to watch the amazing sunsets and moon rises. Quiet except for the waves crashing to the shore, secure enough to leave the patio doors open to enjoy the sound. Security 24/7 gave us peace of mind. (a safe in the the rooms too if needed.)
Many guests from surrounding resorts/hotels walk to and from town/beach even after dark which made for comfortable evening and morning walks with great conversations. (security along the way too in case you get lost. LOL Just take a flash light for some small potholes in the streets.)
Hang out by the pool with a book from the library, forgot sunscreen or bug spray, check with the host Cheryl and she can direct you on where to find them. Want to take an excursion, she can help you with that information too.
When you are ready to leave, let Cheryl know the day prior and departure time, She will arrange for taxi service(who was great as well, a tour guide if you will on the trip to the airport.)

We stayed for two weeks in the Palmetto Bay room and loved every minute of it. Could never get tired of the spectacular views. Sunsets were outstanding, got great pictures and had fun with everyone by the pool. The room had everything we needed and more. Appreciated the breakfast each morning. Everyone was very nice and easy to work with, specially Cheryl and Johanna (not sure if I spelled that correctly. The walk to West End was our daily exercise and there are numerous good restaurants and bars in the area. Would definitely go back to Cocolobo and hope that we can get this room again. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
