This place was a godsend when we arrived prior to a pre-booked tour of Israel.
A very nice lady (I think her name was "almond" in Hebrew) got us our room prior to official check-in time. As we had just arrived from Australia feeling a little jaded, we appreciated her efforts very much. She also found us quite a reasonable taxi fare to Jerusalem the next day.
It is brilliant to have Beit Eshel as a landing point as it is in the heart of things. We had a balcony and could watch the world go to and fro down on the street.
Very spacious one-bedroom apartment. Not 100% spotless ,and hence not a 5 star for me, but the house has a lovely faded glory, faded yes, glory yes. We liked the feeling of it, so much nicer than a sterile modern hotel.
It was expensive, but we came at the time of the Eurovision contest, so maybe that explains it.
