Best Location in Tel Aviv

Reviewed Jun 10, 2024
This is our second time at the Embassy, and we love it. The Standard rooms are large, and the shower is enormous.
The location is perfect for anywhere you want to go. 2 mins from the beach, 10 from Dizengoff centre and from Neve Tzedek. Wherever you want to go, it's not far away. This is only a 2 star hotel, as there is no lobby or pool, and just a small breakfast, but there are so many places to eat in Tel Aviv that you don't need these things. On the first floor there is free fruit, biscuits and coffee every morning till 10.30, and during the day there are always biscuits and fruit, with nescafe or tea if you want it. There's also a water cooler.
The price is much better than a lot of other hotels, and I would recommend staying here and keeping your money for eating and drinking - believe me you'll need it.

Perfect hotel for our long term needs. We stayed two weeks. The junior suite enabled our 18 year old to stay in the same room while having privacy, a unique set up in Israel. The staff is attentive and responsive. I was disappointed to learn they didn’t serve a “traditional” Israeli breakfast but in reality the breakfasts are more than sufficient. It’s only lacking hot foods and a salad spread. Don’t let the breakfast keep you away from this hotel - we had plenty to eat! Because we could travel easily by train we decided to stay in one location so we didn’t have to pack and unpack. It worked out great for us!

The staff was so very nice when we checked in—one room was not quite ready, so they offered us some complimentary wine while we waited, and they helped us get our heavy bags upstairs. The hotel itself is difficult to find, because the name is not on the marquee—you will have to look to your left as you drive up Shalom Aleichem Street, and you will see a neon Embassy Hotel sign inside the vestibule window. But once you are inside, you will find a charming deco vibe going on. Classic typewriters, sewing machines, a pinball machine and more give the building character.

The rooms are cute, with coffee and tea, and complimentary water. No bath tub, but the bathrooms are larger than average and the hot water was ample. The only disappointment was the continental breakfast— it was not very enticing. Not sure if this was because it was a Shabbat morning, or if this is the standard. That would be our only complaint. Otherwise, this hotel is an excellent location and price to be one block from the beach and near many restaurants and important sites in Tel Aviv.

Location was top notch, 1 min walk from the beach, excellent breakfast (not an American standard) incl pastries, nuts, dry fruits like dates and pineapples, fresh fruits, cereals, milk, coffee, a selection of teas.
Easy check in and check out, very clean, great room cleaning service, very comfortable bed, crisp bedlinen.
Would stay there again!

Room tip: A couple of convenient stores just around the corner

The Embassy Hotel Tel Aviv provided excellent accommodations and service during my vacation in Tel Aviv last week. Aron and Sarah at the front desk were particularly helpful. The rooms were quiet and clean, and the hospitality was impeccable. The Embassy Hotel Tel Aviv also provided nice touches like books that one could peruse in the common area, as well as cookies and pretzels as snacks in the cafe and at the top of the stairs as one ascended from the lobby to the rooms. The location was convenient to the local sights I was visiting during my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone vacationing in Tel Aviv.

Room tip: There are a variety of types of rooms, all of which offer privacy and comfort. This hotel is a gem and has a lot to offer to travelers.

Inexpensive and very good. You don't get breakfast they say - but they have fruit each morning and the best water melon I've ever had - plus dried fruit and cake/bobka. It's enough to get you through breakfast. The location is solid, near the beach. If anything of criticism, the rooms aren't modern and the carpet is ugly. But it's a winner of a hote.
