Boutique experience with an extremely comfortable room and bed, absolutely loved the 1.5m plunge pool in our room. Well designed studio with modern decor. Highly recommend going for a top floor room, view is much better. Had a mini-fridge, nespresso, closet space.

Situated in a gated and manicured community on the secluded east side of the island, with lush vegetation, birds. About 30+ min to anywhere, probably worth renting a car if staying more than a weekend.

Food was better than average, with a selection of 3-4 choices each meal, including vegetarian, fish and meat/chicken. Alcoholic drinks included in the all-inclusive but were kind of “meh.”

Enjoyed the beach, shaded by palm trees. Brought my snorkel and enjoyed seeing reef fish and unusual upside down jellies near the rocks. Beach wasn’t big, but nicely secluded - with a bar serving drinks and hot dogs - about 15 min steep walk from the rooms. There is an hourly shuttle service that runs on “island time.” Took the boat from the dock to Green Island ($25 or $45 including snorkel equipment), which had a bit of snorkeling and a turtle, which I would recommend. Double Kayaks were also free to use for guests, which worked well in the little bay.

Only feedback relates to the inconsistent service by some waitstaff and the loud music at meals, which seemed at odds within a resort marketed as a secluded “escape.”

This resort is far away from the crowds and the noise of other big resorts no music all night no pool parties. Peaceful and relaxing!!!!!!!!!!

The best thing about this resort is the serenity you experience, particularly at night with the stars out, tree frogs singing and a cool breeze. This resort was just what we needed for 4 nights to recover from jet lag.
Room - premium bay view pool suite. Really grateful for the birthday card, welcome plate and wine from the hotel! The bed was very comfortable, room kept very clean through our stay. Best thing was the balcony with our own pool and bath tub. Would suggest a 2nd chair for the balcony though! Shower doesn't have a door - won't flood, but have to be happy to show all in the room :) Mini bar was good, water replenished daily, although not sodas or beer which is once per stay.
Staff - a wonderful greeting and intro from Maya. Front desk generally were really helpful. We also met Ivana, Alani, Karen who were always friendly. Shout out to Devon and Tony who took us out to Green Island and didn't forget to pick us up 😂 Last but not least, we really loved chatting with Leston and Ronaldo at the bars 😀
Occasionally service could be a bit spotty in the restaurant with one day, no staff around for 15-20 mins. Get your island time watch on.
Food - generally good, although slightly limited menu with one restaurant. The burger was amazing (don't miss it), BBQ night was very good. Their rum and raisin ice cream was pretty good.
Drinks - it is all inclusive but some of the liquors are well drinks. Rum is fine (local), beer is Carib lager which we both enjoy on a hot day.
Main pool - it's OK, needs a bit of tlc but beds were very comfortable. Loos kept very clean.
Dock - the hotel has a dock with some kayaks should you wish to venture out and some nice seating for a drink too.
Beach - some shade, bar with snacks and drinks available (midday tequila shot anyone?) Very shallow swim area, good to cool off in.
Green Island excursion - we had a great time, but be prepared that you won't be alone. Many snorkeling and boat tours use it as a lunch stop. Still recommend it, but don't expect privacy. Saw a turtle in the bay as we were leaving which was a great way to finish.
All in all we enjoyed our stay and it did what we needed it too. It's a place to go and relax but bear in mind it's fairly isolated so if you want to see more of Antigua, hire a car.
