I went with no expectations whatsoever we booked a week at the Liberty Lara, upon arrival I was underwhelmed with the hotel entrance. It was pleasant on the inside outside to the front leaves a lot to be desired. An can do with a little bit of thought, as it’s not as nice as all the others in close proximity.

The welcome was fantasitic the staff very friendly and welcoming, the lobby looks good but if you sit down the furniture can do with being upgraded as it’s starting to look tired and worn not great for 5 ⭐️ resort.
Room we stayed on the 7th floor rooms are clean and spacious beds are very comfortable, just like the lobby they are a little dated and could do with some TLC to really be 5 ⭐️ standard I would say 4 ⭐️ +.

Grounds, facilities and food WOW. Super facilities and better than some 5 stars. We were a little disturbed to witness staff asking residents not to eat in the outside bar areas you are OK to eat there during the day and they will ask you to move 10 yards and allow you to loose your seat and table in the bar which I thought was very much over the top, we experienced this first hand when we were asked to leave the bar area next to the pool because my wife and son were eating a pizza which was made less than 200 meters away and I could happily eat it 10yards away next to the bar alongside the pool but not allowed to eat in the bar. It states nowhere that food cannot be consumed in this area. Nor did the table waiter or bar tender have any issues just one of the pool waiters who asked us to leave the area. I found this to be very off putting and this is the only reason why I wouldn’t stay at the liberty ever again. I loved the views, the facilities majority of staff but was left very disappointed and in a difficult position. Guest services are really good entertainers are great with kids. I wish the bar situation hadn’t have happened as I’d have had no reservations booking again but to pay for a 5 star resort having staff remove you in front of other guests is rather embarrassing and this left us dissatisfied and upset with the experience.

Wouldn’t usually write a review but felt this was so deserved. Incredible hotel!! The staff, food, grounds, entertainment, location. 10/10.

We did initially get a room with a less desirable view, however after requesting a room change we were very quickly moved to the 7th floor with a gorgeous pool and sea view.

Can’t fault this place. We will be back for sure. Thank you!!

A beautiful looking hotel full of the most friendly and energetic staff. Delicious and wide range of food and drink options to please every diet. With an entertainment team that constantly tries to make your stay as fun as possible with games and all different types of entertainment.
