My husband and I rented a 1-bedroom unit for a mini vacation. The unit was spotless, well-appointed and quiet. The grounds are well kept. Pool area clean with plenty of seating. Beach area and docks too. We had parking right in front of our unit. No complaints and would gladly return.

We have been going to Barona Beach for 4 years now with our teenage children . We love the location and the fact that we can dock our boat right there .
The resort is very family friendly and all of our experiences have been positive .
Nice place. Limited second vehicle parking. Underground parking for some units. Good proximity to Save On Foods, Walmart, etc. Small beach with sand. The fitness room is well equipped. Pool and hot tub are decent enough.
We have been going to Barona Beach every summer since 2011 with our 2 kids, who were 6 months and 3 years old respectively when we started going and have always had a great time. Sometimes we go for a week, sometimes for 10 days. It is quiet and relaxing. The only complaint is the cooling system doesn’t work as well as we’d like at keeping the place cool, which was especially evident the year we rented a 4th floor place. Moved back to the third floor unit the following year and it was better. The day we arrive, we get groceries at Superstore and spend most of the week hanging out at the pool with occasional excursions off site. We were never kept up by noise or awakened by noise at night. It’s a great place for a family vacation and to veg out. I wish they would allow pets again but I understand why they don’t.
