Stayed here for 3 nights with my mum in the beginning of February and what a location. It’s a very cheap, budget hotel but considering where it is I think it’s an absolute steal! We didn’t need to walk more than 15 minutes to get anywhere. The hotel is right off of Las Ramblas and 5 minutes down from Placa Catalunya. We got the airport bus to here which only took around 30 minutes, if that. Check in was quick & easy and our room was on the first floor. It was spacious and clean, powerful, hot shower and new towels every day as well. There was a vending machine for drinks as well as a coffee machine which was okay - good to just nip out and grab one if we wanted in the morning! There is a lovely cafe across the road where you can get the most amazing fresh sandwiches and there are a couple of little bars/restaurants within feet of the hotel, none of which are overly expensive. We also didn’t hear much noise during the night - we did that much walking that we were exhausted at night so slept like babies! In my opinion, if you’re waking up during the night you’re not making the most of your days here lol! My only negative is lack of storage in the room so we had to leave everything in our cases for the few days we were there but that wasn’t too much of an issue! This is a perfect base for exploring Barcelona, loved it so much that I’ve already looked into booking to come back with my partner!
