Our expectations were high, but we were immediately discouraged by a) our driver's inability to navigate the narrow streets and to park in order to drop us off; b) our difficulty gaining access to the lobby off the street (door hard to spot); c) the receptionist's lack of concern that we'd arrived ahead of check-in and there was no place for us to wait. There is no staff on site other than one lone receptionist who must man the front desk (hence, you bring up your own luggage) and one breakfast room attendant/cook. There is no introduction to your room and its amenities, no secure room to store luggage, and no common area. Our suite was spacious and clean (other than the living area rug), the bed was very comfortable, the shower was strong and leak-free and the laundry service was very efficient; however, switches for TV and lights were confusing and water/soap delivery by was sporadic beyond the first day. Overall, a mix of positives and negatives, but the biggest improvements could be made to the reception.
