Review of H10 Universitat

Absolutely fantastic 3 night stay at this hotel for my 50th birthday at the end of March.
We were greeted by the ever smiling and attentive receptionist Anita who quite frankly could not do enough to make our stay perfect ! We were upgraded to a balcony superior room (211) but no noise from the street as aircon worked perfectly.
We were offered Cava on arrival during the short wait for our room. Later in the day on our return we were given a bottle of Cava which we enjoyed before going out again for my birthday meal.
Anita sorted out our 3rd night as originally were only staying for 2. Faultless service, nothing a problem.
The hotel is in the perfect location just a few minutes walk from the Aerobus drop off at either Universitat or Placa Catalunya. Amazing breakfast every day with so much tasty choices we didn’t need to eat again till much later in the day.
Lovely rooftop terrace which we enjoyed the last 2 late afternoons with spectacular views down to the marina and across to the castle. Lovely cold Estrella on draught in the sun served by 2 very friendly barmen (sorry did not get names).
All in all this will be our go to place and will return soon as not been to Barcelona since 2015 so this was a well overdue visit !

Room Tip: Tape tape although a chain does very tasty tapas with great service. One on Ave Rambla

We were welcomed and given our room keys.The room was clean and well appointed and very comfortable. There is a nice bar downstairs. We slept very well. The cups are for coffee therefore very small and there are no tea bags provided. The breakfast is very good having a huge range for the continental breakfast and the full English if you prefer, it's self service.
All the staff were very helpful.
On the the roof there is another bar with a varied view of the city.
It's a great hotel in a very good location.
The Areobus stops in the square 50 yards away the 3rd stop from the airport. In the square you can also get the city tour bus.
We had a great time.
Room tip: You will have to pay local taxes when you book in.
There are lots of local shops and restaurants. 10 % is added for outside eating .

Where do I start? Fabulous room, lovely and helpful staff, the bed and bedding was divine, best sleep I've had in such a long time! The hotel location was perfect to access so many places via bus, metro and on foot. I'd definitely stay again. Oh and the Pena Coladas were certainly the tastiest. Thank you for looking after us so well!

We chose this hotels because of the consistently fantastic reviews and we werent disappointed. From the exceptionally welcoming and helpful staff , to the wonderful breakfast and the gorgeous room, our expectations were far exceeded. Our room (junior suite) was very spacious and great for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. It looked and smelt like it had only recently been finished. Exceptionally clean and well appointed.The hotel is located just at the end of Las Ramblas, within easy walking distance to just about everything. Tip -If there are only 2 of you the airport bus stops 100 yards from the hotel , but any more than that a taxi from the airport will cost the same.
Thank you H10 Universitat you made our holiday. We will return.

Located near La Ramblas which is ideal. Close to all the action and food places. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms spacious, luxurious and clean. Bathroom fit for a King. Roof top was ideal to view firework display on New years eve. Will definitely come back.
