Apart from the comfort of an "almost capsule" (with a curtain for privacy & a built-in shelf beside the bed) in an 8-bed dorm room, really the "best part" of the stay at this place was its "2 common areas" both spacious with plenty of tables & chairs (an indoor lounge & an outdoor terrace where there 's also a laundry room); and also pretty good was the breakfast which was totally worth an "extra cost" with a number of items to choose from.
And yes, located at "not too central" but a pretty good location, just in a short walking distance (no more than 10 minutes) from this place are: restaurants, mini-supermarkets, the Diagonal metro station (with a "direct line" to the Barcelona Sants train station where I departed to Madrid later), and also two of the city's popular tour sites namely Casa Mila & Casa Batllo (both of which I skipped though due to their "high admissions" and choosing instead the sites at the Gothic Quarter further down south but still not too far from this hostel after just about a 20-minute walk to the "main square" Placa de Catalunya then a little further from it).
And also, many thanks are to the staff ladies who were all friendly (& helpful with getting my train ticket to Madrid).
