Review of Catalonia Gran Via BCN

I stayed at 2 different hotels in Barcelona because I traveled to San Sebastian for a few days in the middle of the trip. And I definitely wished I had just rebooked Hotel Catalonia Gran Via when I returned to the city. It's a cute hotel, very conveniently located, and great restaurants close by. I used Aerobus to get from the airport to the hotel, and the bus stop was just 2 blocks (2 minute walk) to the hotel. I was amazed at how smoothly it went as my flight had been delayed and I didn't arrive till close to midnight. Staff was friendly and nice, the room clean, and although the hotel is located on a major street, it wasn't noisy at all and felt very safe. If or when I return to Barcelona, I would stay here again.

Good Hotel

Overall the hotel was good for the price. It was small but got everything you need. I like the modern style. Location-wise it was not the best, by that I mean not in walking distance of the major attractions. But it was very easy to get a taxi and most of the attractions were about 10-15 min by taxi.

Amazing location and very helpful staff

I stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed it a lot, the location is close to everything and very sufficient to get where you want from it. The staff were very nice and were always ready to help when it was needed

Excellent

Must visit the city and stay at this hotel, recommended , excellent service, nice room, very clean, central, you can walk visiting and sightseeing, delicious breakfast, kind and friendly staff. I will go back someday

Nice place, good location and pleasant staff

We've now spend several times here and it always has been a nice experience. The rooms are well decorated, clean, etc. and unlike so many other hotels, it is not a 'sleeping factory' where you are supposed to 'dash in, pay and get out': on the contrary. Personal attention, smiling faces of staff, good quality bed and tasteful breakfast make that this hotel can be warmly recommended.

Very friendly staff and good location , less privacy in the toilet, one side of the bed was too soft and needs to be changed.we didn’t use the bar and the pool so have no comment about it. A good stay in BCN
