Spent a few days in Barcelona for my wife’s birthday. Hotel was great can’t make any complaints. Staff were all friendly and the services that we used were all very good. Location is close to the beach and not to far that you can’t walk into town.

Occidental Atenea Mar-Adults Only is quite optimal place to stay in Barcelona, very close to sea and beach made it even more comfortable place to stay, but also close to down-town. All major sights of the town were possible to reach by walk.

Great staff, saunas are amazing, location can't be beat! We had a sea view room that exceeded our expectations. Perfect swim in the Mediterranean and tapas on the beach. Loved how quiet the building was.
Fantastic hotel. I have stayed here twice (now and 3 years ago) and the rooms and the service have been great. The breakfast is superb. I really recommend this hotel. The neighbourhood of Poblenou is really nice, so nice that you'd rather stay there most of the time instead of heading in to the central parts of Barcelona. The Rambla of Poblenou is just a few blocks away. The beach is great.

Good location, close to the beach. Big and spacious rooms with a great bed. Nice and friendly staff. In the area there are some great restaurantes for good lunches or dinners. We decided to rent bikes to be able to get around, the metro is about 900 m away, and you had several options to rent from in the proximities
