I hadnt stayed at the hotel but I had to deal with the hotel and the service was beyond appalling.
BEWARE!! They fleece the customers and do not respect their own policies.
I had booked the hotel for two nights(27th and 28th Jan 2020) and because of illness I had to cancel it on 27th morning at 5 AM GMT. The policy states that any cancellation after 26th Jan 1400 will incur penalty of one night, which I am absolutely fine with. But as I cancelled the hotel at 5 AM GMT, before the checking time of 1400 GMT, I should have been refunded the amount of 2nd night but the hotel chose to treat it as no-show and swindle the entire amount. I relentlessly followed up with hotels.com, through which I had made the booking and they kept on reaching out to the hotel but the hotel said that it is at their 'discretion' that they will treat this as no-show. Honestly, this is highly unscrupulous and I would advice others to not pay in advance unless you have checked in.
