Boutique hotel close to everything

Nice boutique hotel, very well situated. Good internet and good breakfast that was included.

The hotel has various size rooms. Ours was a good size, but a few people in our group had very small room. If this happens, go see the front desk - some people were moved to a bigger room. Also, elevators are small - often faster to use steps.

There is a very small rooftop pool with a cool bar. Not a big area, but cozy.

The hotel has a few bars close by, very close to the commercial area and there is a market very close. Lots of food and drink in the vicinity and close to buses and tram.

The only negative is that there are a fair amount of homeless people near by. Nobody bothered us, and i never felt in danger, but it’s good to know.

I would definitely stay here again.

Just returned from a 3 night stay . We had a comfort room which had a balcony that was a nice surprise. The room was ok with a coffee machine and fridge . The only niggle was that the bathroom floor flooded when you had a shower and the sink got blocked. We didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment on that . The roof top pool bar was good but pricey . The small dip pool was good especially as it was warm when we were there. There is a supermarket opposite to get your drinks if you need . There are lockers to store your luggage when you check out that cost you 2 euros a time .
Don’t forget the city tax you have to pay when you leave .

Room tip: Rooftop bar prices are a bit expensive but it is Barcelona .

The hotel was perfect for a 3 night stay. Upon arrival, our room wasn't quite ready (we were early). The staff directed us to a locker room where for 2 Euros we could store our luggage in a locker room. We then went straight up to the roof top bar where we could sit and have a cocktail/soft drink while we waited. It was sunny but shade was available with nice seating areas. We had a 'comfort room'. This was perfectly adequate for two people. Very clean and modern decor. Bottled water, a bottle of Spanish red wine, apples and a coffee machine with 2 coffee pods were available on arrival. The bathroom was clean, roomy enough and came with toiletries, fresh white towels, a hairdryer and a magnifying make-up mirror. Room service is available. The reception was able to book a taxi for us with ease. We didn't sit in the restaurant, but breakfast, lunch and dinner was available. Room service choices was fine too. The hotel decor was modern. The only complaint is how small the pool was - it looked bigger in the photos. You couldn't swim in it at all! It was more just to sit and cool down in which was disappointing. We would stay again. Although the hotel was 2 minutes walk from La Rambla, it did sometimes feel a little bit of a dingy street/area. We would, however, stay again though.

Some of the reception staff were very unwelcoming and unfriendly which did not make a nice atmosphere.
The rooms are not sound proof, you are able to hear the people either side of you talking, coughing and sneezing. You can also hear every noise in the hallway as there are gaps under the hotel door.
The one good thing about the hotel is the location.

Room tip: If you dont mind hearing the people in the rooms next door ans everything that is happening it the hallway it's a good located hotel.

Standard rooms are small, dark, airless and without furnishings. Calling them dump is reductive. The comfort rooms are a little better but incompatible for a 3 star hotel and for the prices charged. Don't make the mistake of asking for an upgrade as the rude staff can't wait to overcharge you. Calling the bathtub on the roof a swimming pool is ridiculous. Wi-fi is inefficient and we found the sink clogged

As for the pool on the roof, we apologize if it did not meet your expectations. Most of Hotels swimming pools in Barcelona are quite similar due to the space available on a rooftop.

Great hotel and good location, a short walk from the noisy busy La Rambla, far enough not to hear the noise.
We had a lovely spacious deluxe room, upgraded we believe as paid for superior.
The only criticism about the room is the balcony, we didn’t use as we had to share with a number of pigeons, an idea to place a mesh to avoid this would be great.
Breakfast was plentiful and varied on hot items while we were there.
The bar on ground floor was great of an evening however this closed on 01st May and we had to use rooftop bar, which unfortunately was still chilly and quite windy start of May, many guests felt this as well. If the bar remained open on ground floor they’d get more business as some of us older guest do not want to be outside. Also no coffee machine on rooftop.
Staff were great and extremely welcoming.
Yes we would stay again.
