Stayed 18th - 22nd May 2018. Lovely staff, very clean, enjoyed the breakfast which is delivered to your room (my husband didn't like the coffee but there is a great shop next door and a kettle in the apartment). Spacious apartment. Paid extra for terrace but worth it. No restaurant or bar in the hotel. Has a hob, microwave, fridge, utensils. Reception can order Deliveroo for you and you pay for it at checkout. Rooftop pool is small but clean. Good view from apartment and from roof. Stayed on 4th floor and there was a lift (some reviews said different). Not far from metro/ train. Reception ordered a taxi for us. Really enjoyed it here and would definitely return.

Was a little upset to find that they did not have my booking. Was sorted very quickly tho. The staff were very accommodating and helped me to book many of my excursions out. Better to book through them as it was cheaper.Agents charge a fee. It was better as I didn’t have to queue. The room was facing the road, room 102, very noisy. The breakfast was lovely , continental every day with a reasonable choice. The coffee is very strong and I like strong coffee! Had to dilute it. Hotel has a small gym and a small plunge pool on the roof with sun beds, tables and chairs. Nice at the end of the day.Walked our legs off this holiday so much to experience and see. The metro is the best way to get around and so easy. Get a 10 Trip ticket if your planning on seeing a lot. It covers all areas unless you want to travel further. €10.20 for the 10 trips is amazing value.You won’t be disappointed with the city it’s amazing. We went to watch Barcelona at home it was one of the highlights, my son was blown away. Barcelona is very hilly not good for anyone with mobiliy issues.

Aparthotel Bertran has rooms that are huge by European hotel standards. The suites include a living room area, bed area, bath, refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, dishes and utensils, pans, etc. The location is excellent, and an easy to walk to busses or Metro subway, or just a pleasant walk. The staff is lovely. British Airways lost my luggage for almost three days. As soon as it arrived, the front desk gentleman brought it to my room immediately. I was so happy! Another employee even looked up info on my luggage on his computer and helped me translate a text I received from the airline. The gym is not large but just fine -- even great since they are hard to find in European hotels. The location is quiet but a few blocks from main avenues. Several grocers and fresh produce stores are within 1-3 blocks. I have not tried the pool on the roof yet. This is not a 5-star fancy hotel but the value is unbeatable. I doubt I will enjoy my expensive fancy hotel in Florence as much.Thank you Hotel Bertran!
