Note this is not a typical hotel but is an apartment with the facilities you need. The room we had also had a nice balcony with a sitting chair outside to enjoy the sun. We could not use it since we had to travel and see other places.
For families as well, it is a nice place except that you have to carry the luggage up on the stairs. But a good deal for all the other benefits it offers.

Stayed with my daughter in August 2017. Booked aparthotel as gave us more dining options. Large room, with sofa area, dining table, kitchenette with fridge, hob, kettle and microwave plus plenty of cutlery, plates etc, and bedroom area. Good air conditioning and excellent free wifi. Continental breakfast delivered to our room every morning, croissants, doughnuts and bread, a choice of drinks and a choice of cereals and yoghurt or ham and cheese. The hotel is situated in a quiet, safe area with nearby metro connections, about 15 minutes metro ride to Catalunya square. (Used the excellent T10 cards, 9.95 Euros for 10 journeys including renfe train from airport..... However if you change lines it will register as 2 jourmeys unlike London underground. I recommend factoring in price of these when comparing to more central hotels.) Small clean swimming pool on roof, with sunbeds. We used this every evening after a hot day sightseeing, it was always quiet, we usually had the pool to ourselves. Hotel staff always polite and welcoming.

its on a quite 1 way street, fun to find without a satnav. The Staff is what makes this place. They are the most helpful bunch of lads and ladies we have ever met in any place we stayed, nothing was any trouble to them, directions. information. etc. Aircon is super, u control it. 39c while we were in town and it was super cold by night. The app we stayed in could do with a few Euros spent on it, But nothing Major. Rooms are cleaned every day as are towels etc. Very handy for Metro station, out the door left and left again on main road ,down the hilll for 500mts and its there on other side of road. A 2 day ticket for 2 people is 29 euros. there are several options available. One thing to remember is car parking is not cheap as u are in a city. its 20 euros per night in the hotel but its very safe as u are parking in doors. Down around the port area is lively and loads of places to eat. Beware of Pick pockets around town. even on the tour busses they give u a reminder. Back to the hotel couldnt fault it and would gladly stay there again. 99.9% happy
