The location is amazing, walk distance from Barceloneta beach (around 10 minutes) and only 5 minutes walking from the Gothic Quartier where there's a lot of nice bars and restaurants. The swimming pool is small but Ok, it was not crowded due to Corona time. The terrace is really nice ! The room is great, with a comfy bed and very good shower.
Fabulous staycation. Break from work. 2 glorious days by the pool. Highly recommend. Great room, amazing price. Lovely staff. Special mention to Alex who checked us in and the two lovely girls who worked at the pool bar. They worked so hard to make sure everyone was really well looked after. Will be back
This is a little gem, considering its 2 star rating.! A total bargain for what we paid. Central location, La Ramblas, Port and beach all within short easy access. The staff were great, even prior to our arrival. in particular - Maksim, who responded promptly to all email requests and made a wonderful restaurant recommendation. Rooms were pleasantly decorated and both beds and pillows very comfortable. Taxi's for airport collection and drop off arranged and competitively priced. We were a large number, 19 in total and all very happy with our stay and will certainly be returning to the Hotel Oasis in the future.
Disappointed to find the only outside space (the roof terrace) is locked and closed between October and April, add to that little or no internet in rooms, reception always full of guests on phones/ipads to get internet, rooms and corridors dark and dinghy, reception area very tatty with flooring falling apart, some staff just not bothered with our concerns, rooms not serviced till late in afternoon, from the experience of my stay, I would say say avoid at all costs, it's not cheap and there are plenty of Better places in this price bracket.

We come to Barcelona every year once or twice. We found you in 2018 and stayed last summer in your hotel. This was an amazing experience, great service, enjoyed the rooftop and the room was nice. Because we had such a good experience last year we decided we didn’t wanted to go anywhere else and booked with hotel oasis again.
When we arrived and entered the room this was first of all so different to the one we had last year.
We woke up in the night as it was boiling hot and the thermometer gave 29. We went downstairs in the middle of the night (4am) and the reception told us he would sort it out first thing in the morning. Next morning we go again downstairs to address this where we got the answer that the air conditioning was broken and basically this is how it was going to be as there was no solution.
Next to that the whole bathroom + room ran under water every time we showered.
Again, we went downstairs with a picture of the bathroom and they told us they were going to fix it, ofcourse they did not.
Long story short : the 4 days that we stayed here our room was BOILING hot , the bathroom under water EVERY time. And thanks to other guest of you, the whole room smelled like weed from people smoking outside their window.
I think a nice stay is called very different.
I did tell all of this to the reception but as they seemed NOT to care. I’m sending this email in case you would forget to fix the airconditioning and the bathroom for your next guests.
I’ve read all of the reviews online and this seems to be a problem that goes back to 2016!??? And still this is a problem that has not been fixed.
This stay was NOT €637 worth at all.
Really disappointed in this hotel.
