I agree with most of all of the other reviewers--a solid property in a nice neighborhood location and lovely, old New York wood finishes. We also stayed in the Los Ramblas Old Town area which is fun but wanted to see more of this fabulous city, specifically a neighborhood. This, the L'Example offer plenty to see in a more relaxed manner. Would be great for long term stay but we also prized it after the Los Ramblas. The staff was especially helpful. Recommend if you want to feel the anon tourist part of Barcelona.

Hotel was very nice, clean and the service was very good.
The house keeping staff was very thorough and responsive. I did not eat breakfast there but the room was always filled and there was a nice buss.

A very pleasant stay in this great small hotel. Comfy quiet room with coffee facility and mini bar. Tv has a dual language facility which allows programs to be viewed in their original versions. Near to tube station and good bus service.
