Lovely stay at this hotel for two nights. Staff are helpful and friendly and the hotel is spotlessly clean. The breakfast offerings have received some criticism on here - and whilst the hot food is not the best - there is something for everyone with fresh fruit, juice, cereals, continental spread, toast, pastries and cakes. We had a lovely stay pre-cruise and would stay again. The bar area is nice to sit and enjoy a lovely cocktail and a beer after a long day in the hot city.

We got an upgrade and also received a bottle of bubble was a nice touch.would recommend floor 5 a large room. We was in room 511.
Staff has lovely and very helpful and location was fantastic.
Recommend to buy a Metro card as this made easier to hop and off the underground to get to the prime destinations.

I stayed 4 nights at U232 hotel while in Barcelona. The hotel is close to the Hospital Clinic metro station which was convenient and there are a number of cafes and restaurants close to the hotel. The room itself was clean and tidy. Coffee and tea making facilities available. Nice bathroom. The only major downside is that when I was in my room (806), I could hear every time the lift / elevator was going up and down. It made an annoying vibration noise which I could hear all the time from the room. I asked the receptionist if I could swap to a quieter room further away from the lift, but she said the request was not possible as there were no other available rooms. I felt like I got a dud room and they should have never put a room so close to the lift / elevator. If you got a room further away from the lift / elevator this wouldn't be an issue.

Hotel was clean and nice. Staff in the reception was quite rude and breakfast was nothing special. Room was costly, and I didn't get value for the money spend.

Clean and nicely decorated rooms. Delicious breakfast and convenient location in Barcelona.
However the rooms are depressing and claustrophobic: no windows to the street. Not even windows to an exterior patio. Only a window, covered by dense curtains, that accessed a dark space with no light of any kind. The ventilation of the room depended exclusively on the air conditioning. The feeling was of a claustrophobic atmosphere that invited to spend as little time as possible in the room.

I’ve been charged 300€/night for a no window room, no amenities, very old furniture, micro tv screen..
An absolute scam. Not to be recommended.
