small room, looks into another person’s room. Glass walls for walk-in shower (nice and large). Not enough room for my knees on toilet. Bed too soft. Had safe and fridge. Near Place de Catalonia. Old world charm but not for me.

Great location, just off La rambla and close to a main.
square. We had a room with a little balcony overlooking the street. Hotel is very clean but maybe a little “tired”. Really comfy bed. Staff were somewhat reserved but efficient. Great restaurants on the street. We didn’t try the hotel breakfast or the happy hour only because we weren’t at hotel during those times. If you’re visiting Barcelona, Hotel Nouvel is the place to stay!

The location was great. The rooms are small and when you add a suitcase or two it becomes even smaller. Would choose another hotel next time. The service was ok. Rooms were clean, upon arrival, I needed a shower after a long flight from the USA, NO HOT WATER!
Did not eat or drink at the hotel. Lots of choices for a culinary experience in Barcelona.
Room tip: If space is a concern look elsewhere!

This was a perfect place to stay in the centre of the Gothic area and the heart of Barcelona. A few steps off the main concourse- La Rambla, and yet a quiet spot at night. The hotel was charming with a sense of stepping back in time, but also with modern amenities. Very comfortable beds!
The staff and management provided noteworthy service in that when we had unexpected glitches in our air travel plans , they were most accommodating of our needs. Highly recommend this hotel.
Room tip: Note that this location would be most difficult for parking a vehicle. Very central for exploring the area.

What a great location! Even after six nights, I kept finding new and interesting things that were just a block or two away from this hotel in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. This is an older hotel, in the mid range of pricing but the motif of early 20th century modernism fits in perfectly with the neighborhood and Barcelona. and you get very good value for your money because they have excellent staff and a nice bathroom shower set up and if you choose a courtyard room, you’ll have quiet nights. Someone staffed the front desk 24 hours, which truly helped especially when I had to check out at 2:30 in the morning to get an early flight. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. But definitely stay there again.

The hotel was perfect for us. A few steps from La Rambla and Placa Catalunya- with connection to airport, stadium or Park Guell, the hotel area offers plenty of coffeterias, restaurants and small boutiques. Every day cleaning and towels change and the reception staff was helpfull in every occasion we needed. The room with a balcony was spacious and quiet, the bed very confy.
We didnt experience the restaurant because More than I expectedwe were visiting all day long.
Definitely we will stay here next time in Barcelona.
Room tip: Book a room with balconul to the interior.
