Clean rooms, helpful staff who speak English, great location, 10 minutes from beach, 15 minutes from Las Ramblas, 5 minutes from Metro Station, 2 minutes from Train Station, 20 minutes by taxi from Airport (approx €30). Quiet area but close to trendy bars and good restaurants in El Born area. Simple, continental breakfast with lots of choice. Would definitely book again.

This hotel is well located 15mins from the beach, gothic quarters and city centre. Plenty of nice restaurants and bars nearby i recommend Mr Robinsons. The hotel is modern and clean with good customer service the only negative is no fridge in rooms and my husband wanted a hot breakfast but only continental available but this did not spoil our stay. Excellent value for money would recommend.

I stayed here with one of my friends, we are 18 and were staying for 4 nights. The location of this hotel was amazing as it is was near the centre and pretty near the nightlife, making the taxis on the way home pretty reasonable. The metro station was a 2 min walk with a supermarket next to it, these were very convenient for me and my friend. The room itself was lovely and always clean! The bathroom was nice and spacious and clean towels would be given every day! There were many plug sockets in convenient places and the hotel staff themselves were very accommodating. By the end of our stay we were confused as to why this hotel is rated 2 stars, it deserves much more! If I was to come to Barcelona again, I would 100% book with this hotel again! Just stayed 4 nights at the Santa Marta, couldn't have picked a nicer hotel. Spotless room cleaned every day. Breakfast had a good choice to set you up for the day. All the staff were very friendly, will definitely return to this hotel. Highly recommended

Highly recommended this hotel. In a great location to most place, about 5 minutes to Barceloneta beach, 15 minutes walk to La rambla street.
