The IBIS Meridiana Hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed at in Spain. The location is excellent. The staff, Lorena, Jenny, Esteban, Carlos and Cornelia, are always friendly and willing to help...But the primary reason I stay at this hotel is the fantastic Assistant Manager, Lucie Barrault...For most of the past 8 years in Spain, I have stayed at an IBIS hotel. An IBIS property anywhere in Spain is almost like home for me. And I have known Lucie Barrault for almost 8 years from the IBIS hotel at Castelldefells where I first stayed when I came to Spain in 2013. And since then I have spent many months at IBIS Hotels in different locations in Spain. And when I found out that Lucie was the manager of the IBIS Meridiana Hotel, I decided to stay from late last year until this summer, almost 5 months. Lucie has a polite, calm way of dealing with guests and her personal attention to ensure all guests have a comfortable stay are reasons I stay at this hotel. I think Lucie is a great asset for your company.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Good location to shopping and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds.
We enjoyed drinking sangria in the lounge area. Highly recommend!

One of the things of this Ibis is that maintain standard Ibis.
Reception was so friendly and room was as expected clean and tidy. Pillow was not the best was not so bad.
My only concern was on the breakfast that coffee machines was no t working and need to drink termo-coffee that are not same quality.
Check-out was perfect as checking and staff demonstrated their great service

It is 2 stars. But feels plain good. The room is cleaned every day, breakfast has jamon, semicurado cheese and a lot of other stuff. WiFi works well. The staff is amazing! Gracias! I spent a week on business and they were always helpful and kind. Gracias!
Next to hotel is a large corte inglese shopping mall, mercadona retail and a bunch of restaurants. You have a 10 minute walk to metro line L4 which goes to barceloneta and coast (25 minute ride). Sagrada is about 30-40 minute walk away. The lobby bar is 24/7 and very reasonably priced.
Don't let the slightly off location and stars scare you - this is a solid, if a little dated base for your Barcelona adventure!
