Good hotel next to a metro station. We asked for quiet rooms. View from the window were of rather dilapidated flats but that was the only downside. Breakfast very good, reception helpful but don't recommend a packed breakfast. Grim! A few small problems with room but nothing unfixable.

I have mixed reviews of this hotel as my experience was just horrible.
The hotel itself is not bad and rating it on its amenities would be a 3.5 star in my books. However we encountered the worst hotel manager I ever dealt with. I rented two rooms and was traveling with my wife, 1 year old son and mother. Our checkout time was set for 11 and extended to 12. However, I need to be Barcelona port at 3 PM. My one year old son has a scheduled nap time from 12-2 so we asked if we could extend the check out until 2 pm (allowing my son to sleep without any disturbances). The hotel refused. I offered to pay full price for an extra night and the hotel manager still refused as he said we were fully booked and we needed to vacate the hotel immediately. My wife and I pleased and mentioned that guests do arrive at night sometime it shouldn't be a big deal. But the manager refused. When I went back to my room to pack my belonging, my mother only later mentioned that the hotel manager told her that if we do not vacate the room he would call the police. What kind of sick human being threatens to call the police to remove a family with a one year old baby. I will not dox this employee here, but this treatment is unacceptable and will always revere this story to anyone who wants to stay in Barcelona.

We are disappointed with your comment. You are right when you say that we did not agree to extend your stay, but it is not fair what you are doing. Our business is accommodation, and if possible, there is no problem in offering late check out, with or without cost. But if the hotel is full, there is no reason to do that. Do you agree to receive your room later than check-in time, when your child needs to take a nap, because the previous guest also had a child who needed a nap? We all know your answer.
It's not fair because we offered you to stay 1 more hour for free. And it's not fair at all, because you don't mention that we don't apply cancellation policies for your mistaken double booking, leaving a room unsold, and unpaid, because you made a mistake.
Nothing to say about calling the police, I prefer to think that your mother did not understand me when I spoke to her.
You actually seemed more understanding when we were talking about this and we offered to stay, and you accepted, in a quiet area of the hotel. But it seems I was totally wrong.
Good location and good services. The breakfast is buffet and so many choices. 17.5 euro per person. The hall way provides coffee and water. The L2 and L3 metro station just front of the hotel. The top roof has the swimming pool, gym and bar. The restaurant girl Daniela is so friendly and nice to help you. We had a good time to stay in the hotel.

Hotel room was dark - no natural light as we had a greyed out internal window that was into an air shaft. Only bonus was that we didn’t have road noise but the hotel itself was super noisy. We had no hot water in our taps. Room was tired and dated and just generally sub par. Staff were nice though and let us store our bags on the last day and the location was pretty central.

Hotel room was very spacious and comfortable. Pool although small was very much appreciated after long walks thru the city..however rooftop only open 8am-8pm...which meant no morning coffee or after dinner drinks by the pool or rooftop bar. Espresso machine in the lobby was our savior. We never ate in the restaurant because breakfast was mostly sweet items and dinner was only available for full menu with reservations. The view from rooftop is amazing!

The first days of the season the hotel bar is open for a few hours, in summer the hours are longer. It's great to know that the espresso machine in the lobby was helpful.
