Nice Enough, but not Amazing

This was my first time visiting Barcelona and therefore was not sure where to stay. There was nothing actively bad about the hotel, but there was also nothing amazing about it either.
For Dimond members, we received free breakfast for 2 people in the room and had a free drink at night at the bar as the executive lounge is currently closed due to COVID.
To get the room cleaned you have to called down each morning as they are not cleaning them automatically. The breakfast was the exact same every morning with eggs, bacon, salad, yogurt, cereal and bread. It was very exciting, but also was plenty of food.
The gym is open and is pretty nice, but has limited equipment.
The A/C in the room worked really well and got very cold at night which was amazing.
Our room door stopped working the last night and the only way for us to get into the room was by using the master key. So we had to always find staff, re-explain each time about our room to have them let us in. The staff didn't communicate with each other which was annoying and the only item offered was an apology by the night staff, but not from the morning staff who thought we were crazy and forced us to go through the entire process again.

Hey guys, I have been traveling to Barcelona for quite some time and stayed many times at this Hilton.

I have to say that the quality is no longer of a Hilton. Everything from staff to room quality has dropped. Even the toiletries have been swapped. No room noise cancellation and bath quality were the least I expect to be at par but even that has been disappointing.

Being a member of both hilton and marriot, I strongly recommend the AC Hotel Lilla next door for likely 10-20 euros mores.

It was my first stay in Hilton with my Gold Membership and I was really happy about choosing them. Stayed four nights with them and had great service. Check in process with Diogo was smooth. Room was nice with a good view of the park. I liked the bathroom and the bed. Two daily complimentary water bottles were perfect for us. Walking distance from Maria Cristina Metro station, some shopping and many fast food restaurants Breakfast was good as well. Reasonable price paid at check out. I recommend Hilton Hotel when staying in the city.

I’m used to travel and already stayed in more than 20 different Hilton Hotels and I can absolutely say that the guest service from Hilton Barcelona was incomparable! I’ve got my luggage stolen and the staff did everything possible to help me.

Another great Hilton version in most chick Barcelon hood . Next to everything nite keept with Hilton standard as usual .
Personally be back soon felt like stay at home . Staff very professional and friendly , with top notch degree profesionalism .

Returned to the Hilton Barcelona in January 2020 for a quick weekend meetup with a friend who had already booked his lodging here. Experience was better than my initial stay a few years ago; the check-in team was more responsive and overall, service seemed better. Did not receive an upgrade as a Diamond Member, but given the late reservation (on my part) and other difficulties, I was honestly happy to just have a room and access to the Exec Lounge was helpful for water and soda without having to work to hard. It is a European sized room, everything in the room was as desired and I was pleased by the experience as compared to my first visit to the establishment.
