Good location near metro stop and lots of dining options. Good breakfast selection

Hilton Barcelona is located in the heart of Barcelona, only about a 4 minute cab ride from Camp Nou (FC Barcelona stadium). It is just 5 minute walk from Maria Cristina Metro stop (Line L3 Barcelona Metro). We booked one room with points and at that time it cost 50,000 Hilton HHonors points per night while another with cash ($160 USD per night after taxes).

Thumbs up:

Great location in the heart of Barcelona around a lot of dining options on Avenida Diagonal street
Only 5 minutes walk to nearest metro stop Maria Cristina (Line L3)
Great breakfast buffet in Mosaic restaurant
Thumbs down:

50,000 Hilton HHonors points per night makes it an average value at best, and poor at worst

We stayed here a couple of nights due to an issue we had with an air bnb.

The hotel is a little way away from the centre however it is still very easy to get to the centre.

The metro is 5 minutes walk and on L3 (Maria Cristina) and it takes about 15 minutes to get to la Rambla.

The bed was comfy as was the room and bathroom, the staff were friendly and the hotel was quiet being the weekend.

Only one complaint was the cleaners were a tad noisy but that was all.

Would happily stay again.

Staff was very friendly and cooperative, but the rooms a little noisy. The hotel pretends to be an upscale place, but it is not. The breakfast is average, the gym is basic, the valet parking is not valet parking and the exec lounge is below par. The location is very good, the people at reception very friendly and rooms are spacious. Therefore 4/5 for this rating.

Barcelona Style, Elegance, and Service well into the Night! My stay in Barcelona was a quick 30 hours so having a convenient yet well appointed hotel was high on my prioritiy list. The Hilton Barcelona, not unlike it's more expensive cousin, the Curio Barcelona, was a perfect choice. My room was clean, well decorated, with great lighting options and a spacious, nicely "toweled" bath. The desk and living area in this junior suite was "business ready too.

It was a very pleasurable experience to stay here and we found the staff and service to be very professional and helpful.

We stayed in a Suite and found it well decorated with good air conditioning and plenty of space. The room service menu is one of the larger ones I've seen in a Hilton which provides plenty of options.

I wasn't amazed by the Executive Lounge but it was ok to visit for a few minutes to refresh/grab a snack - the service was excellent but the ambience isn't as comfortable as other lounges.

I'd happily stay in the hotel again and the location is convenient to jump on the metro or bus to the city centre (15 mins).

Room tip: Hallways on 2nd & 3rd floor are very warm due to the open plan bar.

Due to the open bar there’s much noise to hear inside the rooms. Room temperature is way to high (around 30 deg) where outside it was around 15 Deg. One of the towels had blood stains that where still visible. All in all not the experience you may expect.
