Our stay at HG Suites Barcelona was a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was large and comfortable. The common area was large and well maintained and very comfortable. The hotel was close to transport, shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay there.

We really enjoyed our stay here and everyone at the hotel is very friendly! They were very accommodating as we arrived to the hotel early and allowed us to check into our room as we were exhausted from our flight. Both the bed and the pull-out sofa bed were surprisingly comfortable! They are several good restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Our room had a sink, stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, and dishes, so it was easy to make simple meals for our family. They offer coffee, juice, croissants, and muffins in the morning which was very helpful. The hotel is within 45 minutes walking distance to Camp Nou to the southwest, 30 minutes to La Sagrada Família to the northeast, and 45 minutes to the Gothic Quarter and beach to the southeast. There are many public transportation options nearby as well. The hotel itself seemed newly built or newly renovated, and the bathroom was very modern. Our room was perfect for our family of four and we would definitely stay here again!

This hotel was a great stay for a short city trip. The staff was nice and rooms were very clean, small and simple. The cleanest I've stayed in while visiting Barcelona.
The hotel was less than a minute to walk to Gracia Metro and about 4 minutes to walk to Fontana station.
Extremely convenient location, which really made our stay. We were able to reach several sights fairly quickly. They do not have breakfast, but do offer a variety of small pastries, juice and water in the room.
If you are on a budget and looking for a clean, simple and convenient room, book here.
I would certainly stay again in the future.

Upon check in, I asked the receptionist Victoria that if if I prepay for my booking for a longer stay but may end up leaving early, what is hotel's policy reagarding early check out before my original check out dates. Victoria told me that we will refund you for the number days that I would check out early. However, upon checked out i requested that since I am checking out 1 day before my original check out date, I would like to have refund. Front desk clerk Erika told me she talked to her supervisor who told her they dont refund room charges unlike i was told originally by victoria. When i insisted Erika that I want to talk to her supervisor, she told me supervisor has no time to talk with me. Finally i insisted Erika to call Victoria on phone who originally told me about this . Victoria admitted telling me that but said it is up to supervisor to approve it ( which she never told me that originally) . All this proves that this business have no ethics and are not being honest to customers. Also I had paid for laundry but upon check out I was told by front clerk Erica that my laundry bill have not been paid . I told her to check again but she insisted that it is not paid. Finally she only accepted my explaination after her fellow front desk clerk confirmed what I was telling her.
We stayed here for 10 days in August and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is perfectly located in the Sarria / Sant Gervasi area with only a 5 minute walk to the Metro. We had a Superior Family room with Kitchenette which was great, the room was large and the bathroom was very nice. Would stay here again
