Having visited Barcelona for a 3 night stay with our friends, we chose the NH podium, rooms 227 and 228 it’s location, amenities, food and staff were Excellent, breakfast was superb and dining in the evening was superb value and quality food and wine I cannot recommend enough.
I would like to thank all the beautiful staff for making our vacation so memorable . This hotel is spotlessly clean

good location. big room. very friendly stuff. the breakfest was wary good. it was my birhday and they send cake to my room. the gym is good but it was too hot there and airconditioner was not cool kkkk

We had an unforgettable stay at the NHC Podium. A brilliant hotel with style. The staff is very friendly with attention to detail. Our room was wonderfully decorated just right and with lovely accessories for celebrating a magical Valentine's Day. In the super comfortable bad we slept like angels. Breakfast with huge selection of fruits and local specialties and amazing coffee. Thank you NHC Podium for everything - we will be coming back!

Good stay
The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk from Placa Catalunya and the Ramblas. The area was quiet when we stayed and its just far enough away from the hoardes of people around the main touristy areas. The hotel is modern in style, all white and wood and all the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. I had only had a couple of minor points, which had they not been there it would have been excellent. More on them further down.
Just a couple of points that might be helpful. The hotel charge €0.01 to a card at check-in for any incidentals.
We got the Aerobus from T2 to the city. It only took about 20 minutes and cost €10 return each.
The room we were in faced the front and had a small balcony, just wide enough to stand on. It had an entrance vestibule with the basin and wardrobe and the bathroom was off here. The bedroom had its own door and had plenty of space. There was a well stocked minibar with branded soft drinks, beers, wine and champagne. The bed was very big and comfy there was plenty of pillows.
The minor points I mentioned were the radiator in the bathroom being permanently on, which made the bathroom really warm especially when the shower was on. The knob to turn it down didn't seem to make a difference.
The air-con control panel was a waste of time. I think it's one of those ones that's there to satisfy our requirement to be in control, when in fact it does absolutely nothing. My guess is that during the slightly colder months they control it centrally to save money.
Would recommend this hotel, we had a really enjoyable stay.

We would like to apologize about the situations described with the radiator/heating, that we would have loved to know during your stay to fix them immediately for you. We take advantage of this communication to inform you during winter times the radiators in the bathroom are on from the central system due to the season, but they are meant to be controlled by using the knob in them as you explained. A similar situation happens with the heating in the rooms, so we are sorry that in this occasion those systems did not operated as usual.
