Since the restaurant we were looking for was unfortunately fully booked, we decided to try this one instead since it had a "Menu del dia" for 13€. Starters with "Salpicón de marisco" was ok but the "paella mista" was a bit flavourless.
As we were eating the starters the waiter just shoves 2 main courses on our table, which we thought was unprofessional since we were not finished eating and the food would get cold. Then we realised one of them wasn't even what we had ordered since we both asked for "ternera" and one of them was "merluza". We told the waiter that it wasn't our order and she took it to another table. The terneras came immediately after we finished our starters, they were obviously in a hurry... Average as well, the meat was a bit hard and the potatoes soggy. Then for dessert we asked for flan and they brought us a tiny flan that could have come from the supermarket with a squish of whipped cream on the side... The only OK thing was the sangria and that wasn't included in the menu del dia (around 8€ for 0,5l).
We looked at the a lá carte menu to see that everything was really expensive for such average food. Just go somewhere else, you only pay more because of the location near the Sagrada Familia.

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! WiFi & AC like an oasis in the desert! 10/10 would recommend.

A big surprise, the restaurant looks a little bit conservative, but doesn't matter when the lamb chops taste like heaven! Friendly staff :-)

A great place to experience a local family restaurant. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There were English menus and English speaking servers. Most of the customers seemed to know the staff which was a hint that this wasn't a run of the mill tourist trap. The food was excellent from the kidney bean soup to the pork paella and on to the chocolate dessert. The local beer was cold and good. I will definitely return on my next trip to Barcelona in two weeks.

I ordered the mushroom or cep Carpaccio and it was excellent. Now I have to go home to try making it myself. We also ordered gazpacho and beef Carpaccio and both were also really good. The beef Carpaccio had shaved foie gras on it which was an interesting twist
