Friendly staff, good security, clean modern rooms, very nice breakfast. Unfortunately our room did not have a window to the outside, only to an inside hall, and we could not open it so the room was a bit stuffy.

We stayed at Room Mate Emma for 4 nights and found the location superb. We were there during the protests and didn’t hear or see a thing – in fact we had a wonderful night’s sleep.
Importantly, the staff at the hotel and very helpful and welcoming.
Our room was on the 4th floor and faced the street (superior room 402). It was comfortable and spacious for European standards. We were able to place and keep opened 2 large and 2 small suitcases on the floor without bumping into them.
The bathroom was practical, the shower had great pressure and really hot water which was fantastic. No water leaked from the walk in shower. The bed was comfortable and there is a choice of low or high pillows. We overlooked the street and whilst you can hear the rumble of the metro and large vehicles going past, these sounds didn’t disturb our sleep at all.
Breakfast was great – there is everything you could wish for…scrambled eggs (cannot order other types of eggs), breads, condiments, cold meats, cheeses, fruit, yoghurt, a variety of pastries and of course coffees, tes and hot chocolate.
The lifts are quick. The taxi rank is just outside the hotel and the orange line metro station Provenca is a block away and station Diagonal with lines lL3 and L5 is a 5 minute stroll away.
It was a pleasure to stay there.

We were recommended to stay in this area, closed enough to central yet still safe and not too expensive.
We stay here end of Jan to early feb 2020.
We booked a superior room with breakfast. ( which only superior comes with breakfast)
Breakfast -has everything u need for a hearty meal to start your day.
Room- was clean and comfortable. Amenities- shampoo, conditioner, shower gel ,hand bar soap, at sink, and shower has everything just shampoo, conditioner & shower gel. Which all you really need.
I like how the toilet is a separate area so 2 can use same time and not get the smell..
Co- need improvement- maybe give bottle water everyday, not just 1st day.
Try to give option for room option to include breakfast..

Then we extended 1 extra day, on site was more expensive, so I booked via booking again for a basic room without breakfast since I leave next day at 630. They don’t wanted to let me stay in same room cuz I booked a standard ( last day), wanted 15euro to stay in my original room( superior)..
but they ended up letting us stay there without additional charges during our last day of the 1st booking.. thanks 🙏

Staffs are nice and professional, need key to entry hotel / lift, which make me feel safer, there is water pitchers in lobby to refill water bottle..
I would stay at any room mate through out Europe from now and would recommended my friends..
