I had so much fun with this hostel! The free group dinners, pub crawls, and all the other activities they offer every day make it super easy to make friends and really enjoy the city as well as learn a lot about the history. The staff members were really helpful, friendly and fun.

My friend and I chose to stay at Hostel One Sants during our short visit to Barcelona, and it certainly lives up to it’s reputation. The rooms are fine and comfortable, and although bathrooms are shared, we never had to wait for access. What really makes this hostel is the staff, who are super friendly and helpful. The free tours are a massive bonus and great fun, and the night activities are a great way to encourage a sociable vibe. This is one of the best hostels we’ve stayed at and would visit again.

A lot of hostels are places just for travelers to stay with some places hosting events to encourage socialization. Hostel One Sants takes it up a notch by hosting not only daily events, but also nightly dinners and bar/club crawls with the other Barcelona Hostel Ones which really get every traveler/visitor feel like a family. Alexei (hope I wrote his name correctly) is a wicked good cook. Definitely felt like I was at home even though I was traveling. Only wish I could have devoted more time for Barcelona and the hostel.

My friend and I went on our first backpack trip to Europe. Our first stop was Barcelona and we stayed here at Hostel One Sants. As soon as we stepped in the staff was welcoming and informative. My friend and I had a lot of questions because it was our first time doing anything like this but Eddy answered all of our questions and made us feel at home.

I really like that the goal of the hostel is to include all the travelers in a variety of activities such as walking tours, free family dinners, games and nights out to bars and clubs. All of these activities are offered through the hostel. Because of these activities, we made a lot of new friends and memories. In addition to the activities, the staff is what makes Hostel One Sants unique. The are incredibly nice and participate in the activities. They encourage everyone to have a good time.

I also found that there was just the right number of bathrooms and showers. I never found myself waiting a ridiculous amount of time to use a shower or bathroom. There is a terrace on the roof with a nice view. It’s a great place to relax or socialize. Free, homemade dinners are offered and are home cooked by the staff. There is an optional donation to keep the dinner tradition going. Breakfast is also offered and it’s only a couple of euros.

This was by far my favorite hostel we stayed at on our trip. I’m going to be looking for Hostel Ones from here on out!
