As we arrived (by taxi) we were hit by the smell of sewage right outside the hotel. Check in was slow, with just one person working at reception. We were already aware that they had refused to refund one of our rooms which we could not fill due to Covid. OK< this is their written policy, but under the global problems of the pandemic, it would have been a nice gesture to refund the money. Instead they offered to keep the cost of the room on credit for 12 months. Rooms are basic but functional, and clean. Not much in the way of soap provided though. One small sliver of hard soap by the sink and one squeezy bottle in the shower of body/hair soap. During a shower, the water went to incredibly, and unsafe, hot ! Nothing could lower the temperature. Not great when you are covered in soap. Same happened again following day, thsi time when covered in shaving foam. When informing reception, we were just told it was a problem across the whole hotel. Next day they did put a small box of 4 chocaltes in the room. Breakfast quality was OK. Pool on roof is nothing like the picture. Consider it a plunge pool only and it gets very full. Standing room only.
